I love this song too. This song is also from the film called "Megamind" :) RIP Minnie Riperton. Poor Maya Rudolph...her mother died just 2 weeks before her 7th birthday. She died on Thursday July 12th 1979 when Maya was 6 turning 7. So sad. Later, Maya Rudolph had her first child named Pearl and put Pearl's middle name Minnie and it is in honor of Pearl's late grandmother from her mother Maya's side. Good on Maya for doing that, putting Pearl's middle name Minnie.
