is everyone so blind or is it me whos got paranoid?? Roy you sing good, you worked alot to be able to, and ofc. you can sing in other genres, cause you learned it.
i think you got sick. religious issue or burnout: its like john travolta on syntology. Get back to your profession... you are a singer.. one of the worlds best and you can take your decision, but take it honestly..i´d pay 10 bucks each week to hear your voice on karaokee;) You with Bruce Dinkinson and James Labrie! Top of the Top!
geoff tate ofc a great singer, i got out of letters on last post^^ eriksen touched me as well, but tbh i wouldn´t have mentioned Karevik.. karevik didn´t touched me at all during his performences at kamelot, i´ve even seen him live and thought.. ok what are you doin there.. i can sing the same on those tracks, cause they are rather easy. i play keys for 15 years, sing for 5 years, i know about music ´n stuff. its not all technique its more emotion the more you get into..
L) Yes, I must admit it wasn't easy at all finding enough "old" Khan's pictures; when I arrived to Silver Shine I had to use a random draw, that's because I had run out of photographs!
Really great vid! Thanks for uploading :)

This is a sad year for power metal. Kamelot lost Roy Khan and Iced Earth lost Matt Barlow. Two of the best of all time.

@Landrid You're totaly right and I agree with you... but... James Labrie? Not Geoff Tate? Or Tommy Karevik? Or Michael Eriksen? Interesting choice.

@PrinceMarcusWilliam
Yes, totally. He has been singing for a lot of time; Conception's first album was released in 1991.

he is the Best male singer in metal, Kamelot will never be the same without Khan, such a tragic departure
xfernydrummerX 6 months ago 4
@xfernydrummerX sad that he left, but you should really check out some other bands with great vocalists. Seventh wonder and circus maximus.
