  • what sorcery is this?

  • weird so fake

  • optical illusions are base on how you were rased. look it up. most white peoples minds cannot believe in most illusions they cant comprehend it

  • <~~~~~~MIND FUCKEDD!!!!!!

  • X Factor :D

  • this is fake

  • does the color have an effect on how we see the drawn tables?

  • THAT'S GOD DAMN RIDICULOUS I AM SO HIGH RIGHT NOW I'VE BEEN ROTATING MY KITCHEN TABLE FOR HOURS

  • how do i go from baby farts to this o.0

  • @keegan47401 :D

  • u owes me a pair of brain >:(

  • camera tilt. not impressed.

  • my comment is hacked.......u can't like it.....go ahead try

  • @onsproductionz whatta queer you are

  • @WeAreCuponk thanks for noticing ;-)

  • whow, wtf!

  • O.o

  • THANKS!!! IT'S NOT LIKE I NEEDED THOSE BRAIN CELLS ANYWAY!!!

  • "the table tops are exactly the same size"... I would beg to differ. It's the orthogonal projection of two virtual 3-D tables that are of same size. But the 3-D reconstruction of the tables (which our amazing brain is so good at) are of course of different size.

  • I jus' got mind fucked really hard......

  • @JYTILLIER You're basically saying that optical illusions don't exist. Really? Are you trolling or are you actually serious?!

  • @greeenpro2009 it just does not qualify as an optical illusion. There is nothing abnormal or wrong there.

  • @JYTILLIER The definition of an optical.....oh forget it. Nevermind.

  • @greeenpro2009 Sometimes... people need time... to let it sink in... ;) wait until we get the nano cloak out there... when cloaked we got the illusion of not seeing anything there... or, nevermind, it's the cloaking device, not an optical illusion... ah no... it is... soo confusing... ;)

  • @greeenpro2009 do u kno the concept of a man with single eye? basicy if we didnt have to eyes there wouldnt be an illusion all together be cause humans are use to having two eyes if u go blind with one the other will act as two no matter what. rarely people are born with eye sight of only one and cannot see illusions they just see a flat drawing they cant predict 3d in screens of tv or paper cuz its flat i dont kno how it works optical illusions are real just can be figured out jytilleiers right

  • @greeenpro2009 no, she's trying to act smart to impress dudes over the internet.

  • @JYTILLIER it tricks your brain and your eyes, its an optical illusion

where the fuck r u from? Cambridge? no one cares, this looks cool. shut up hater!!!

  • @ClayRamaProductions it says "beyond belief". I guess that's the illusion: to think this video was beyong belief.

  • @JYTILLIER "The brain estimates the length of the table due to perspective." Thus, it is an optical ILLUSION in the sense that our brain perceives the image different than it really is. When you see an 'oasis' in the middle of a desert, it is in fact just the reflection of the sun off of the sand, hence an ILLUSION.

Look up the definition of illusion before you try and sound smart but end up sounding stupid...

  • @DavinciBeats it is no longer an illusion especially because you understand the phenomena. If you change point of view (up/down/left/right/close/far) due to perspective the length and width will vary. At one point it just turns out the length of both tables are the same. There is not distrotion of reality there. It's just perspective and projection.

  • @JYTILLIER

What do you think constitutes an illusion? You know it's physically and logically untrue, but your eyes and mind can't help itself, thus the optical illusion.

  • @hoyle1911 except there is nothing physically and logically untrue here. If you vary the angle at which you look at something at some point Length x cosinus(angle) of a table = Width of the other table. It's normal perspective.

  • @JYTILLIER: That's the point of an illusion. It's only a representation of a table, and yet our mind interprets depth where there is none, and so refuses to believe that the two (flat) objects are the same size.

  • @Eagle0600 it is no longer an illusion especially because you understand the phenomena. If you change point of view due to perspective the length and width will vary. At one point it just turns out the length of both table are the same. There is not distrotion of reality there. It's just perspective and projection.

  • @JYTILLIER: That's what an optical illusion IS.

  • @JYTILLIER most of the optical illusions IS correct perspective

  • @JYTILLIER lmao you dumbass

  • @JYTILLIER If you didnt call this vid ridiculous I might have believed you. Why dont people object something in better manner for once *sigh*...

  • @JYTILLIER dumb...asss

  • @JYTILLIER that what optical illusion mean...

  • Dear God, I have brain damage now. Blerk Blerk Blerk. SEE!

  • WOW!

  • It's not an optical illusion...it's a horrible drawing....Vanishing points don't coincide, perspective is horrendous, etc.

  • I like how nice you are to people who write bs coments

  • Shows how much your mind interpret's stimulus from the outside world in order to give us what we in fact "see." People all too often think of their perception of the world as just a sort of copy of reality, when in fact half of it is constructed by our mind.

  • Where's Morpheus when you need him...

  • Coloring fail -___-

  • aww man creepy song!

  • This the same as BRUSSPUP!

  • @DemiGodRumbleXx i love that channel!!!

  • im reporting this to god so he can patch it

  • wow. amazing -.-

  • what is music?

  • what the hell is tht.. where is the illision

  • i dont see a difference unless i try to, ive trained myself to see things like this in the way that they are, im 13 btw, ive tought myself to see the conclusion of the illusion befor the illusion. idk how i do it i just do, maybe its a gift?

  • this illusion is made because the brain thinks that the left table should be longer because of the 3d world we live in so thats why it appears to be longer, you cant change the perspection u have on it even though u know what is going on, a few mindfucks here and there lol

  • @Sumormega Good explanation...we're trained to see things a certain way and there's nothing we can do about it. I like to use those elements that we're trained on and play around with them!

  • @greeenpro2009 We can do plenty about the way we are used to see things. The brain adapts very fast to changes. If you manipulate the senses differently than they are used to, the brain adapts pretty fast, and the brain actually needs time to adapt back to normal again afterwards.

  • @Sumormega Hey check out my video on dna changes about carbon 7.I think you'll find it interesting

  • @Sumormega i hope your wearing a condom cause i have a dirty mind

  • man ur videos creepsme out ther are so trippy

  • it's because of the way perspective works. your brain thinks you're looking into an actual depth of field but it's only 2d so they don't look the same. the angle of view isn't from directly above the tables, it's angled downward so our minds account for the fact that it'll looker shorter in the direction your facing and normal side to side.

  • i still dont think its true.....

  • same idea as the Ames room

  • no entendi

  • its easy to figure out how the illusion is done . . . a long table have shorter legs further away thats why your mind tells u its a long table

  • GUYS... its all about DIMENSION and PERSPECTIVE!!!!!.

nothing to do with camera angles and shit.

    are people really clueless nowadays.

  • Wowzzers :D That's cool!!!

  • i didn't know the meant of this video!

  • i got here from watching baby farts.

  • now thats some cool shit

  • i dont get it

  • i believe the most detailed illusion is the color differential between the tables surface(not the sides) and the way its colored (meaning horizontally and vertically brushed)

  • if i trace it from the screen and color it in will it still work?

  • @CloudTheCat52 don't do it on an LCD monitor lol, you'll fuck it up.

  • this doesnt work anymore its been patched

  • @funster5031 are you stupid how can a picture be patched?

  • @funster5031 LOL

  • yay

  • i feel this has something to do with the angle at which the camera is kept from and above the sheet (with the tables drawn on it)

  • @1123aka Look at the description and print this illusion out (I have links there to do that). Then try it and you'll see for yourself. Come on...try it!!!!

  • @greeenpro2009 i completely agree with the illusion mate ,im just saying that the camera angle adds more to it :)

  • @1123aka Gotcha..:) Thanks for watching and commenting.

  • @1123aka no problem ! ur sub'd btw :)

  • @1123aka that happens when draw one vertical and another horizontal.

  • @1123aka The camera angle has nothing whatsoever to do with the illusion.

  • @MitchellLeary1 i didn't say it has to do with the illusion, i said it had to do with its effect on mind and perception .

  • haha

  • HAMBURGER!

  • This is the same kinda bullshit black people use when they say they've got bigger penises...

  • what? so confused

  • FUCK SALT

  • I don't see the illusion? Which one is it supposed to match to? I always thought it was the yellow one??

  • this guy did bad in art class

  • I understand nothing.

    Impressive to see :)

  • #FTW ?

  • amazing! The best one of these on here

  • links on description not working plzzz fix them

  • nossa!

    q legal(sarcasmo)

  • its just the different color or the tables that makes people think its a different size

  • it would be better to show the illusion longer then show us that they are the same size

  • The colouring of the tables also helps the illusion

  • WWTTTFFF

  • actually, this is because of the 3d dimension illusion, so technically speaking if the thing came out in real life, it actually has DIFFERENT dimensions.

  • WAT

  • thank you sooo much

  • cool!!!

  • i didnt see an illusion, jus some loser switching table tops

  • you sir are awesome *subs*

  • OMG!! This was soo awesome !

  • I dunno why but it didn't really seem to trick me.....

  • terribly cooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GREAT WORK MATE!

  • Mind Fucked...

  • what the fuck!?

  • parallelogram overflowing with the right table

  • hugh awesooooome...

  • you edited the vid. :)

  • dont make no sense! gaaaaaaaaah -_-

  • The music you used is lovely :) Can I ask what it is?

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO how the fuc...

  • its because the bond paper is not on top view -.- the camera is not viewing the bond paper as a top view.

  • ...........I didnt see the mind blower, but ok

  • what is this temple grandin

  • is it just me or did the peice of paper get longer when he used it to measure the orange table?

  • @wordpresslikewierd

It didn't but i thought it did to, silly brain, don't be tricked so easily.

  • 0:08 theres a small space on the top right edge of the table... and 0:10 is exactly the same.. =D

  • that is so cool!

  • i knew it! X) genius

  • Cool, I have that illusion in one of my optical illusion books I purchased.

  • Hey, this looks like the table in the left is longer because of the camera angle. we are seeing it from up... hence the illusion... but it is a great trick...

  • @crrake260 it looks longer because of the spacing betwean leggs

  • @VarykGerai but also because of the angle of the camera that is slightly up....i do agree also on ur point though.....

  • @crrake260 also since the edge of the grey table is the same color as the worktop it adds to the illusion of it beeing wider.

  • uhm.. I dont get what is so cool about this? it was just picture?

  • @mjfan1ABC123 It's so much cooler to see right there in front of you when you print it out, huh? Thanks for watching!

  • LOL

I got out a ruler and measured the dimensions off the screen... and guess what happens??... u tell me :D

  • stop trying to kill my brain :D

  • illusions are awesome..

  • @brizzlestick heck yes they ARE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Dun think it's about colour that makes the left table longer. The left table is in fact a rectangle and the right table is a square and when placed at an angle, looks like each other. If u, however, put the length of the rectangle against the edge of the paper, it would not look the same.

  • Comment removed

  • I THINK THE CAMERA ANGLE AND THE POSITION OF THE TABLES HELP IN THE ILLUSION.

  • or you can just cut a paper piece xDD great vid : pp interesting.

  • that is sooo inpossible!!!

  • you're videos are great man..i think you and brasspup should have an "illusion-off"

  • @mike44789 Thanks! I've known brusspup for a few years now. His videos are amazing. An "illusion-off"....that's funny :)

  • @mike44789 that makes no sense you're videos??

  • the most boring thing ever but still cool :)

  • THIS BE WITCHCRAFT!!

    thanks

  • COOL :DD

  • that was so epic.right.

  • yeah, well the brain is reading it as a perpective. But it's actually a false perspective (the lines are parallel).
