I am a diehard Edmonton Oilers fan for 27 years and tonight marks the first time I have watched any highlights of this game since I saw it live. I will always maintain that if Roli dosen't get run by Ladd/Bergeron in game 1, we would have won the Cup. Pisani was 6 inches from tying it on that 2nd to last game highlight which could have changed the complexion of the game. Probably my most painful sports team loss ever.

this series was fixed by Gary Bettman to give a southern sunbelt team the cup again, because they get so few fans and desparetly needed the cup to be able to stay in North Carolina. Same thing with the Flames and Tampa Bay in '04 and Ottawa and Anahiem in '07. All fixed by Bettman and the league office to give the fanless US teams cups they needed to draw some fans.
