Yeah, I wished at the time that Burton would be the next permanent TPIR announcer after Rod passed away. But he's stuck saying only a few words on Family Feud. He did such a great job on the syndicated TNPIR & subbing in Rod's absence.

Yeah, during season 32 when the show began auditioning new announcers, I was hoping that if the staff hadn't of selected Rich Fields, that either Burton Richardson or Randy West would get the job as Tpir's permanent announcer. Not that I am offending Rich because I think he is doing a fantastic job on the show but he's not as good as Johnny olsen or Rod Roddy, I will admit that.

this was when the safe crackers reveal was much more suspensful and better. now if they do that kind of shot of the big doors you know right away that theyre gonna play 5 price tags, which takes away alot of suspense for the viewer. they need to bring this reveal back
