  • If life is the most important subject in the world and many smaller countries let there life disappear and yet other countries decide to help them thinking it help there ideas and choices so wouldn't it be smarter to let there life disappear instead of bring the one who help down by depending others you want the human mind of feelings to be gone? anyway I felt like I contradict my own words so don't say things in a mean way if you decide to reply

  • The Japanese value system may work for them, and it may have brought them to the point where they are, but this mentality would be utterly useless in the West because even though we may represent our families, schools, the companies we work, etc., at the end of the day, above anything or anyone else, we represent ourselves. Ultraconservatives may admire this big scale small town mentality, but it is far from being a utopia. Your video is bullshit, and you get no thumbs up from me. >:(

  • On the other hand, during times of peace and stability, reducing individuality to the lowest levels - like the Japanese do - would be ridiculously impractical in the West. Suppression of individuality may lead to social pressure and the admonition of bullying, giving birth to the alienation of individuals who may be considered social parasites and undesirables just because they can't "adapt" to the system... a mentality in which the best are fully rewarded, and the worst are sorely humiliated.

  • This video is so ridiculously full of propaganda, it actually made me laugh.

It implies that Western countries have become too individualistic to be solidary and caring, like the Japanese, who seem to value life above anything else. Your view of Western values is so pessimistic and cliched! The fact that individuality is a top priority for us, doesn't deprive us of feeling empathy or solidarity towards other human beings, even more in times of disaster.

  • i already know how they do it. ALOT. AND UNPROTECTED. DAMMMMNNN

  • somewhat true. its also part of their culture to act the way they do. as you see in europe america and other western countries, family values are giving way to individualilsm. the same is happening to Japan however they are still in the point where family is still very important.

  • so true
