basically a sealed box and ported box combine into one big box, benefits, if your in a trunk car, if you don't port it into the cabin it's gonna suck ass, but if you port it through the rear deck it will be very nice, most of the down falls i have seen with bandpass are a short range of reponse, but it's all in how talented the box builder is
