Fix White / Blank Cydia Icon 4.2.1 & 4.3.5 Firmware

well when the redsnow application turns on and when the box opens up there is a buttion that says extras you click on it and there is a button that sys just run tetherd right now click it and fallow the on screen instructions

IF ANYONW IS WONDERING, YOU DO NOT NEED TO ENTER DFU MODE FOLLOWING HIM, mine did not work, so i just rebooted tethered the normal way and it worked PERFECTLY, got cydia now :), anyways great vid thnx

@footballstar0214 Download the ipsw for the firmware that you have for your iDevice. Open up redsn0w. Point redsn0w to the ipsw you should have downloaded. Then click the 'just boot' option and it should work.

after untethered jailbreaking using redsnow 4.2.1 iphone 3gs,cydia icon was white and it cant be open...running redsnow again and just boot tethered device is the simplest solution but everytime my iphone and open again it stuck up with apple logo,,and i have to run and run again redsnow everytime my phone was off..

if after the jailbreak you are able to use the cydia but only the icon is white follow these steps

open up the cydia

go to manage on the bottom of the screen

tap packages

then you should search for "Cydia Installer"

press it then on the top right on the screen where your battery is you should see "Modify" tap it

and then just press "Reinstall" and agian on the top right of the screen press confirm

wait for it to install tap close cydia and the icon should be normal
