The Palestinians have a long way to go before the US will support them. As an American, I remember seeing the Palestinians dancing in the street after 9/11. Further, the palestinian sympathizers on the boat were not peaceful, but violent. They made the decision. Further Palestinians spit in our face and elected Hamas to lead them. With all of this, the US will not support the Palestinians until they get rid of Hamas. And stop calling for the end of the Israel occupaion.

Also, yes, I remember the USS Liberty. Israel apologized and paid over $14 million to the families of the lost soldiers. The US's own investigation concluded it was a case of mistaken identiy (friendly fire).
