@mancamiatipoola It's not the fact that they dub all movies. It's the fact, that the quality of the dubs suck major ass. Of course, there are exceptions, for example the hungarian movie dubs.

I disagree. when u dub a movie u take away a part of the actor's artistic expression, even if it is the audio. There are many subtle hints in verbal expressions and word games that only make sense in the language the movie was made in, which get lost in translation. U can't always translate all the proverbs or expressions from one language to another and manage to preserve all of the meaning. Not to mention that u take away from the acting quality.

This is why i don't like dubs.

@mancamiatipoola You're absolutely right. I can't argue with your point, because I think the same. But think about it: Not everyone is so lucky, to live in your big america. 75% of hungarians don't even speak english so much, to know how to answer a question with just 'yes' or 'no'. If you make them read movies, you might as well stop giving your movies to the world, and leave them with only books to read.

Dude, i'm romanian, i learned english in 5th grade and so on. Most of romanians can't understand english , but they don't complain about reading subtitles either. U can't tell me that hungarians are dumber or more illiterate than romanians, can u? Yet i have never heard one romanian complain about having to read subtitles. If they can't read, they just don't watch movies.

Anyway, i still don't think it's right to dub movies or cartoons, no matter how dumb the pple are.

I never watch movies with subtitles. I understand english and french pretty well, so i just listen to movies. I prefer to hear the original language in a movie, even if i can't understand it. This way i get the full acting experience portrayed on screen and i don't have to listen to bad voice actors butcher the original characters.
