  • do have to pay monthy for the myfi2200 ? or can i just buy it on amazon and it will work ... someome tell me

  • @blackoppbeast Yes, there is a monthly fee attached to the MiFi 2200. The pricing is $50/mo for 5GB of data or $80/mo for 10GB of data.

  • haha, good thing I have at&t, because I'm not carrying around that shit.

  • but you still have to carry around the stupid 2200....so much for mobility.

  • use sprint`s overdrive mobile hotspot 3g or 4g

  • aaront0812. That comment is wrong you just have to have the unlimited data plan in order to get unlimited usage. And if you read the contract it dose tell you how much you get to use, and i live in Albuquerque N.M. and just about every one i know and a lot of company's use Verizon here and i never had any problems with it they are faster the the at&t i had last.

  • they just fail to mention verizon isnt unlimited theres a 5 gb cap on data you can use so you watch 8 hours of videos/few days of youtube your done at&t is truly unlimited theres no cap and you have a faster data network with at&t

  • @aaront0812 While the MiFI does have a 5GB data cap per month, it truely allows you to use any app or service on the iPad while AT&T has been known not to let you use bandwidth intensive apps like Slingbox over 3G. There is also a lot more Verizon 3G coverage with a more reliable network, whats the point of having unlimited if it keeps disconnecting frequently? If your an iPhone users...you know exactly what I'm talking about!

  • @aaront0812 I'll take the 5GB cap to AT&T's 2GB, secondly AT&T's "unlimited" was the same as Verizon, as it too was limited to 5GB (read the fine print dumbass) until they dropped it. Secondly, AT&T may have the top speed, but they ranked lowest in consistency so your speeds are likely not to be what they say and also their 3G foot print is small.

  • @aaront0812 Wrong, AT&T caps at 2GB. I am both a Verizon and an AT&T user with iPhone 4, Blackberry Storm, and iPad.

  • I use the MiFi with the iPad and there's no throttling or app restrictions as the iPad 3g users are finding out.
