Whats all this about being a woman's car? Nothing feminine about a 5-liter V-8 Benz. Maybe if it's light blue-but black on black would suit Mr. Big just fine I'm sure. The AMG will surely be quite the panty-dropper--so it that respect, I guess you could say it's a chicks car.

Mercedes seems to be a car more for retired people, so they need an image makeover to capture the younger market. Perhaps a name change for example like Benz Motor Works or something clever like that may help increase its appeal.

@TheNoblebarnes All I'm saying is I just don't want the 2011 Mercedes Benz E Class Cabriolet. It looks to oblong and large for the convertible style to really work for it. I for one see it as kinda ugly. I'm not faulting Merc, which does make some spectacular cars, its simply that the E-Class Cabriolet just isn't for me. But if you're going to be a dick about it, then I guess the less I say the better.

An AMG version with a manual transmission would be really cool. But I don't think it's going to happen anytime soon, Mercedes is known for their superior automatics.

Targeted at women? I think more guys will be buying this car than women. This car will actually do better than most other convertibles that been released awhile back.

The not so recently but kinda recently released IS-C, and Infiniti G convertible aren't do so well on the market. I have yet to see a G convertible on the road, and only saw one IS-C. Personally I think they won't sell, because of the ugly design, and those cars don't fit as a convertible, but this E class will do well.

The only convertibles i see guys in are sports cars.
