Actually we have better animal rights than children's rights. Better rights for unborn than for born children. It is all backwards. Why would I not allow the children to speak out IF it is their desire to do so? As if those psychopaths 'elected' by the people are in any way more entitled to voice their propaganda. In order to do that, I worked FIVE jobs, (4 part time staggered thru the week), at once. I did this for 3 yrs. This I did to support my family. Fuck anybody who is not willing to work as hard as I did to support their family. Using children as political tools is morally wrong.

I don't know whether or not if this particular situation is using their children as shields but if parents were to use their children as shields to keep police from using force I'm strongly against it. However, I do believe that the children here do have the true power in changing the system, and I believe the children of the corrupted are the ones that can help their parents change...if their parents truly love their children.

My question would then be this: Can it be condemned when parents bring their children to a movement that they likely support because their children's future is at stake. Agreed, some of it seems to be staged and unnecessary, yet the real culprits are on the side of 'Law' enforcement. 'Laws' that ALEC wrote. I say yes to bringing your children, but no to force them to speak out what they were told to say. We stand at a major cross roads and everybody should have a voice.

I could understand right and wrong when I was very young. I remember my mom talking to me about Gaddafi. I remember feeling like, finally, I was being included in the rest of the world. I still cherish that.

I must say, these young people are far less brainwashed than most American politicians (or even most adults)... our politicians have decades of years of programming under their belts. I prefer those loyal to their parents than those loyal to the dollar, personally.

Even my 4 year old son who had no idea what any of this is about, could see that the police ripping down those hearts that the kids made "was so mean".. I think this video would have more impact if the kids were saying what they think in their own words and not something they were taught to say line for line by their parents. Using children as political props is uniformly distasteful. I don’t give a damn what your cause is. If you want to ensure that your children are socially aware, educate them, talk to them about issues you’re passionate about in terms they can understand, and by all means, raise them according to the system of values you feel is appropriate, but don’t make street theater puppets out of them. That’s not education, it’s exploitation.

This is actually frightening. I support the idea that change is necessary if we hope to create a better world for ourselves and especially our children, however, I do not see this as an intelligent approach. Watching this swiftly brings back the idea of parents labeling their children as "christian" (or whatever religion) although the child is too young to understand the concepts behind their parents' belief.
