  • 2 words. THOMAS JANE AKA THE PUNISHER makes a cameo in this movie. and you're an idiot....

  • @He11sing920 Please do Watchmen, but please read the comic first ok thanks

  • I like that movie :)

  • This film is amazing.

  • I feel like the video game references made more sense in the comics because scott was often shown playing video games...just thought I'd mention that.

  • 8-bit openings for the win? Emer, what was with the opening?

  • @tencents6 Well, two things. First, I plan on doing a theme month dedicated to video game movies (stuff like Tekken, Silent Hill, Postal, etc.), and that opening will be on all of those. So, I wanted to preview it a bit.

Second, since the movie being reviewed here reveled so much in shamelessly cramming in as many unneeded video game references as possible, why not do the same with the review?

  • @He11sing920 Oh...then...8-BIT OPENINGS FTW!!!! LOL XD

  • Thank you for having the balls to dislike this horrible film. God its the worst. Filled with meta humor and obnoxious characters. Terrible movie.

  • This is simultaneously the best and worst film that I've seen in recent memory.

Scott kicking fuck out of a load of skater-turned-actor clones with their own skateboards. Win.

Having a very short and uneventful battle of noise with a pair of mute Asian twins. Fail.

As far I'm concerned the whole film is like that. Giddy highs and cringe-worthy lows.

  • Terrible comic? Terrible film.

    See how that works?

  • This movie is a really acquired taste. Not everybody will like it. I myself loved it, but I respect your opinion.

Either your love it or you hate it

  • I'm a big fan of yours for the most part, but I think why people love this movie is because there's absolutely nothing like it out there (goes for the novels as well). I don't think Edgar Wright has ever done anything I don't like, and it is love letter to Toronto in a way. Anyways that's my two cents.

  • @blackheart103 AMEN

  • Ok review, even though I am obsessed with video games so I might like it.... I respect your opinion though.

  • Are all movies in America like really cheap? And yes the movie REALLY sucked.

  • I respectfully ask u 2 thouroghly examine the movie cuz the reason don't see substance is because ur looking!!!

  • hipster flick honestly. ANYONE with common sense knows its a hipster movie.....thats why i strongly dislike it.

  • @brentloves2review Well, in that case, common sense must be in shot supply. I quick glance at the comments of this video will show that a lot of people will loudly defend that this abomination is not a hipster movie.

  • @He11sing920 i say that ONLY coming from the music. other then that its a movie i guess for the teens and such. i know movies go by peoples taste but i personally dont recommend it to ANYONE.

  • @brentloves2review It's kind of like a movie a "poser" hipster would fall in love with. True "hipster" movies are bland, disgusting art house films (for the most part).

  • I really don't agree with this review, i can see where you're coming from with movies such as steel and Howard the duck but really i dont see anything wrong with this one but rather with the others

  • great review man, funny and really imformative, i need to work on the informative side in mine, i just blaber on bout it and say stuff i cant take back lol.... anyways man if you looking for sugestions for a movie, u should do a dual review for both girl with dragon tatoo movies and maby compair, if u only hav time for one they nearly the same so doesnt matter. but its exelent movie has story, great acting, high budget, messed up and violent, its not august underground league but still good.

  • I agree, I didn't like Micheal Cera's acting and I was underwhelmed by the film at first. After rewatching it, however, I liked it a lot more. The comedy seemed a lot more slick and the fights weren't as long and dulling as before. I actually liked it.

  • Comment removed

  • sorry dude big fan but i gotta disagree with you on this one :/ the one real thing i agree with you on is ya scott was a really bad actor

  • I once watched Scott Pilgrim vs. The World like you....THEN I TOOK AN ARROW IN THE KNEE!!

  • @ArrowInTheKnee1993 way to overuse a gay ass old internet meme u dumb nigger

  • @TrollBridge100 Way to use a highly insensitive insult you white supremacist communistic prick. You're as bad as that arrowintheknee asshole.

  • It was his opinion, not yours. Stop bitching and go find something else to do other than bitch about your favourite movie on someones youtube channel.

  • All this talk of style over substance, and all I can think of as an example is Final Fantasy 7. XD

  • @SaitoKojima No, you're thinking about that movie that you'd have to play the game if you wanted to know half the things that were going on.

  • Wow, Haters up the ass on this. That movie sucked, straight up.

  • @Decepticon491985 At least it's still better than Transformers 2: ROTF, the HSM trilogy, Scary Movie 2, Fred: The Movie, Garbage Pail Kids, & the Twilight series.

  • @Cellmate412162 and the star wars prequels and cars 2

  • I liked the movie and the soundtrack. I'm not a weeabo or a hipster.

  • I'm a metalhead and I enjoyed it. I agreed the music sucked though.

  • hated it more than salo?

  • While I enjoyed the film Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, I enjoyed this review and I can understand why you didn't like it. It's not for everyone. I'm not that big of a fan of Michael Cera cause I think he gets typecast (or is it typecasted?) into some of the roles where he acts kinda dumb. Great review man!

  • You don't get it [PERIOD] (coming from a fan). I'm sorry, but I have to dislike. =(

  • @Pierin24 OK. Enlighten me. What was I supposed to get?

  • @He11sing920 For me, the movie was so-so (5/10). I really don't care about style over substance in any movie. Yes the music was terrible, the humor was a mixed bag, and I didn't like Michael Cera as Scott Pilgrim. What I hated the most was Roxy's death. A better death is in Kazaam when Shaq slam dunks the arch enemy. What matters to me is whether a movie has more good or bad aspects than the opposite, and if the bad aspects are hillariously bad.

  • @He11sing920 Oh, one more thing? Will you ever do an R&R on an anime series? Because if you do, here's a request: Neon Genesis Evangelion; the most overhyped anime series in history! Sadly, it's still being overhyped even to this day as the "BEST ANIME SERIES EVER!!!" It will make Scott Pilgrim VS. The World look like it has real substance. I watched the whole series years ago, and I ended up HATING IT like you wouldn't believe! (I almost went insane.)

  • @Cellmate412162

I think you mis-spelt Gurren Lagann.

  • @He11sing920 -I haven't read the comic books either-. Think of keanu Reeves playing Neo. Michael Cera's acting generally sucks; however, it is evident that he felt comfortable playing this particular role, thus delivering a decent performance. This movie was aimed at video-game enthusiasts; in consequence, it was a major financial flop. On the other hand, I would like to thank those involved in the making of this movie for taking such risk...

  • @He11sing920 I know music is all about personal taste, but I find myself somewhat surprised that an Insane Clown Posse fan would dare to claim that the music in this movie sucked. Some songs were not that memorable, but the music during the fighting scenes was awesome!!! 'None of the characters had any depth" Do Mario Bros, Sonic, Donkey Kong, M.Man, or PacMan have any depth to them? NO!!!!! That was the point of this movie!!!! It's conceived as a homage to those Nintedo era v-games

  • @He11sing920 Don't get me wrong. Your videos are great. I have liked them all, but I have noticed that you are kind of biased toward movies with lots of hype, such as Eraserhead or Th Lord of th Rings triology. Even before you started watching this movie, you were already pointing out possible flaws, which kind of made me overly suspicious. This particular review was an utter fiasco, but your rants are Youtube classics. Keep the good work. PS. Could u review Patlabor 2? =)

  • @Pierin24 do you mean the jokes i think he got them he just did not find them funny.

  • @Pierin24 scott pilgrim white knighting faggot

  • @Pierin24 BAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

  • @BackToAfricaSpikeLee at least I actually HAVE videos, jackass

  • @Headbanger142

no videos are better than manchild shit like my little pony, fucking disgusting.

  • Wow, alot of pissy fans can't take a hint of an opinion. Well one is that it's his money, and two it's hiw own review. Deal with it.

  • Your not supposed to care about scott hes supposed to come across as immature.

  • @DarthJoshReturns ha ha and if you think that's sad, Armond White, the biggest hack in film criticism today called it the best movie of the year

  • @Headbanger142

Not as sad as uploading My Little Pony q and a videos.

  • @Headbanger142 he is very picky about his movies i was very surprised to see that he liked it he does not even like the dark knight (thinking about it nether does he11sing)

  • @Headbanger142 So did Roger Ebert. What's your point?

  • I do admit that the Vegan Police was stupid.

  • You need to do a Miyazaki Month sometime.

  • People accuse this movie for pandering to hipsters. The thing is, with it's following, wouldn't that make the haters the hipsters?

  • @DarthJoshReturns Now that you mention it, yeah, hipsters reject mainstream stuff don't they? And I'm pretty sure the song that plays during Scott's fight with Gideon is called "Death to All Hipsters"

  • Scott Pilgrim isnt a movie I would recommend on the spot either. The soundtrack itself in my opinion is tolerable and a little catchy, but the only reason I say that is because most of the songs remind me of the German 1980's punk band Feeling B's music. Cinematography was fantastic but the plot itself wasnt that attention grabbing. For me, this is a movie I'd only watch if nothing else was on or if I was forced to watch it with friends or something.

  • I hope that people dont compare you with the film scholar Ray Carney from Boston University. He accused once a movie of being "an all-American triumph of style over substance" and that movie was Citizen Kane.

But seriously the movie failed to make the characters just like in the comics and connect with the audience. And they even placed a Seinfield scene as a reference in the movie, so most people wont even remember that show unless you are around the 80's - 90's era. That is my opinion

  • because your videos are shit.

  • The music in the movie wasn't nearly as good as the game.

  • I've always been indifferent to Michael Cera. I've never seen Arrested Development. he was meh in superbad, but to be honest Superbad was extremely meh overall. I think he tackled the role of Scott well. You don't identify with him. He's pretty much an insensitive, passive agressive, a-hole. But by the end he realizes that and sets out to set things straight. Thats one redeeming factor i guess. The rest of the cast are decent at filling out their respective roles pretty well too i think.

  • A few things I do agree on you on. The music was meh to me and the early fights weren't great. Plus too few characters get enough development. Really for me this wasn't a great movie but it was at least decent. And FYI, I am neither a hipster, a weeaboo or VG obsessed, thank you very much. So generally I agree it is allot of style over substance, but I also think you're being too harsh on the film. Oh well, to each their own.

  • This movie for me was one of those turn your brain off films. It parodies video game clichés and in that respect I feel it was entertaining for me. It does drag in the bit at the beginning and I do feel Micheal Cera isn't a great actor. However I find Scott Pilgrim himself to be the awkward loveable idiot. Good intentions but completely clueless. The fight scenes I felt were pretty creative and funny since I love over the top nonsense humour.

  • What's with these videos getting so many dislikes lately?

  • @Action52TheMovie A couple of assholes are thumbing the video down using a ton of sock puppet accounts. That's all.

    Just ignore it.

  • @He11sing920 Or a lot of people like Scott Pilgrim.

  • @Stehmdawg That is part of it, yes. But, this whole thing with the massive amount of dislikes has been going on for over a month. Unless Scott Pilgrim fans are psychic and knew I was going to hate the movie, it doesn't fully explain what is going on.

  • @Stehmdawg quite possibly

  • I took a cinema class last year and I was required to watch this movie. I wanted to punch Michael Cera in the face; he sounded like a timid mouse throughout the film. I also thought Ramona was stiff as a board.

If they'd picked a better cast, maybe the movie would've been more tolerable. That was the film's biggest weakness. Everything else was better by comparison.

  • Lol i made a spelling mistake. That last "however" was out of place

  • Wow dude...I know not everyone is going to like this movie but come on. You make it seem unbearable, it really is a good movie, I think you're just dissing it to purposely piss people off.

  • @codymac44 No. I am "dissing" it because I found it to be a torturous waste of 2 hours. To you, it was a good movie. To me, it was a piece of crap. What more can be said?

  • I personally enjoyed the film (even after reading the original graphic novels), but I don't mind if you're not a fan of it.

  • You may find this as a cheap excuse because it's been said to death, but Scott's band is supposed to be horrible. They even suck in the comics. It was all intended from the very start. Its point is to illustrate Scott's unwarranted self-importance, where he thinks he's this big rock star, even though his band matters to no one except for a clingy school girl who doesn't know better.

  • @VintageBalderdash That point would be a good one, but there is a problem. At no time in the movie does anyone tell them that their music sucks. Sure, Scott's sister looked bored as hell during a show, but she seemed like the sort of person who would be bored during an atom bomb blast, so it doesn't really help it out any.

The fact that the rest of the film's soundtrack is just as bad doesn't help matters any either.

  • @He11sing920 isn't a movies golden rule is to show and not tell. It means don’t use words when images can do the job.

  • @GENSHIFOX2 So, the movie showing crowds cheering for them during the battle of the bands and one overobsessed fan, and not showing anyone (besides Scott's sister) genuinely not giving a shit is the movie's way of showing us that Sex Bob-omb is supposed to be a shitty group?

Sorry, but that doesn't quite add up.

  • @He11sing920 Maybe those crowds of cheering people are well stupid or on drugs, they can't tell what good Canadian music is.

  • @GENSHIFOX2 So, nearly every character in this movie is either stupid or on drugs? That makes sense, but it doesn't quite paint Toronto in the must dazzling light. After all, if your theory is to be believed, this movie says nearly all of them are stoned out retards.

  • @He11sing920 DUDE! We live in world were 90% of the world population are stoned out retards.

  • @He11sing920 If you think about yes! These people in this movie are on drugs, there flying in the air, people are exploding into coins, etc.

  • @GENSHIFOX2 I think you don't like this movie because it didn't think for you. We live in a very cynical time and where people have lack of imaginations, where if you do something different or unconventional narrative in cinema, your automatically given a pretentious sticker.

  • @GENSHIFOX2 On the contrary. I prefer films that don't hammer me over the head with character development and narrative. I like it when a movie is able to subtly weave these things into the narrative to help push the story along.

However, almost every person who disagrees (and isn't trolling) says the same thing. Everything is explained in the book. That's saying the filmmakers were too lazy to work some seemingly necessary things into the movie. You know this, right?

  • @He11sing920 yes.

  • @He11sing920 I do know that the 7th book was still being written while the movie was being made. However after reading much of the series I can honestly say that Edgar Wright and his crew did a bang up job with adapting the material from the books to the screen. It was very faithful to the source material and like many adaptations unfortunately not everything could be included in the film. There was stuff, especially from book 3, i wish was included, but left out for time length & time I think.

  • @He11sing920 From what I remember Beck intentionally wrote the songs to suck to appear that way in the movie. Even the line Scott says to Ramona about where she asks about his band Scott says "yeah, we're terrible". I gotta say for songs that suck, the movie's soundtrack has got some good beats. In addition to the song contributions, Nigel Godrich's score was top notch. And I have nothing but undying love for Scott Pilgrim game OST. I'm feel like a raving Anamanaguchi fan because of that game.

  • @0ne176 Well, if you liked that soundtrack, that's cool. I am not going to dump on anyone for liking it.

However, I felt the need to mention that I wasn't too fond of it.

  • @He11sing920 You kind of have an issue pushing your opinions as fact. "The fact the soundtrack is bad..." I personally really like the soundtrack. If you really don't like the soundtrack, then that's awesome. Saying it's a fact it's bad is just awful rhetoric.

Also basic narrative tells you their band sucks. The only real fan of their band is a high school girl who doesn't know better. The only ones that cheer at their music is Wallace. Kim tells you straight out that their band sucks.

  • Michael Cera works for an ironic hipster crowd, because one could say that his shitty acting is a joke in and of itself.

It's like how the way you hate almost every movie you review (though you mostly go for bad ones) works for a cynical crowd.

  • You got the audience for this perfectly.

  • @He11sing920 what about Akira? The manga is 6 chapters and over 2,000 pages long. The movie left quite a lot of important stuff out and that's because they couldnt it all into a 2 and a half hour film.

  • @Headbanger142 The movie also came out 2 years before the manga was finished. So, everything that was published from 1989-90 (and probably a fair bit from '88 as well) obviously wouldn't have been there. So, they took what was available and worked a story out of it. And, truth be told, it made for a great movie.

So, what was your point? I am sort of curious.

  • @He11sing920 I'd also mention that the newer Pioneer dub is better than the Streamline dub in that there's certain scenes that are far more beautifully expressed in the new dub like when Kaneda crashes the bike of his dead friend to "send him his wheels" it's actually explained unlike the original, plus Johnny Young Bosch completely owns the final scene with "You called for me didn't you? And I heard you...". The original dub just cheapens the substance that was there all along buried within.

  • @TeenAuthor I wonder if Eber watched the Akire movie and if he knows that America is about to make a live action movie with AMERICANS as protagonist. Such a wonderful failure to behold, i am sure of it.

  • @He11sing920 I was referring to the length of the Scott Pilgrim books compared to the movie and how some movie adaptations of certain books in general are usually limited to how much they can actually put into just one film rather than an entire series.

  • What's with all the dislikes? Sure I may like this movie as much as the next person, but Hellsing didn't and he even gave points to back up why he didn't like it.

  • No such thing as wrong opinions. I completely disagree with He11sing here but I'm not gonna trash the guy and say hes wrong.

  • @BloodPump I won't lie though I did 'dislike' this vid. 'Disliked' the Eraserhead review too but neither were bad per se.

  • So, I see that the trolls are eating this one up, eh?

I thought the movie was pretty good, but this was still an awesome episode! :)

  • clearly, you do not have a sense of humour and imma just gonna assume your parents never let you play arcade games as a child.

  • @shazomaniac On the contrary. I do have a sense of humor, and I played tons of arcade games as a child.

Why are you mentioning arcade games anyway. The plot was basically just Mega Man and quite a few sound effects came from Sonic The Hedgehog. So, unless you count games that started life as an NES and Genesis game respectively as "arcade games", you had better have a reason for bringing it up.

  • @He11sing920 Well it takes a few cues from River City Ransom, which is pretty much an arcade beat-em-up on a console, as well as Street Fighter in the first fight, so I guess that's where the arcade games part is coming from.

  • @TheAstuteConman Funny. I don't remember Bollywood style dance numbers and fighters exploding into coins in Street Fighter.

However, I do remember certain enemies in River City Ransom dropping a coin after they died. But, to my knowledge, no actual arcade beat-em-up did that. So, you still haven't explained his point.

  • @He11sing920 Ah whoops, sorry I got what happened in the movie mixed up with what happened in the comic book in that fight. Heh, my bad. In the movie there was just the "K.O." sound ripped from one Street Fighter game (don't play too many of the SF games so I wouldn't know which)

  • @He11sing920 what you mentioned used to be part of the arcade games anyway. the movie is AWESOME. period.

    music isn't THAT bad either.

you made it seem like the movie seem like it's same level as diarrhoea which is completely not true. it's a random game fantasy movie.

don't really know how you can't relate to it.

  • @shazomaniac To you, the movie is awesome. That's the joy about opinions. No matter how you word it, all I can do is disagree and walk away.

I disproved your point about arcade games, and yet you haven't given any sort of rebuttal to it, yet. You just say "they used to be part of the games" without naming any games. So, try again, and put some thought into it this time.

Also, if you insist on using the word diarrhea, learn to spell it. It makes you look less foolish.

  • @He11sing920 son, you can't say my spelling for "diarrhoea" is incorrect because i spell the British way and not American. You can say "pants" all you want but "pants" is a short form for "panty" and i call it "trousers" instead of "pants".

you already named out the games, why should i name it all over again? refer back to your comment.

  • @shazomaniac I only mentioned River City Ransom, Megaman, and Sonic the Hedgehog. None of those were arcade games. Since you narrowed it down to only arcade games in your first comment, none of those are good examples.

As for correcting your spelling, sorry I didn't know about the alternative spelling of diarhhea. My mistake.

  • @He11sing920 wait, Sonic isn't an arcade game? i swear when i was a kid i played it in an arcade once upon a time

  • @shazomaniac Actually, there is one Sonic game called SegaSonic the Hedgehog

  • @Habullaraza thank you for confirming that, i was correct.

  • @shazomaniac you may have played a spin off title on an arcade system, because if you played a main title on an arcade system hen SEGA put it on their for giggles. Sonic in and of itself was a console franchise.

  • Comment removed

  • well opinions are like assholes, everyone has one....

  • @GENSHIFOX2 So, what's your point?

  • @He11sing920 Some people love Scott Pilgrim and some people don't............

  • @GENSHIFOX2 I know that. I thought I mentioned that in the video.

So, I need to ask again. What's your point?

  • @He11sing920 It means everyone has the right to their opinion.

  • Personally I enjoyed this film and the comics, but to each there own. One thing I dont get is why ur complaining about stupid stuff? I thought u loved stupid, I mean u liked fucking Howard the Duck ;)

  • @Fancymanofthedeep Howard The Duck was stupid, yes. However, it was stupid in a funny way.

This thing, on the other hand, was stupid in an almost insulting way.

Also, Howard The Duck had likable characters, a decent (but corny) plot, and good music. None of that was present in Scott Pilgrim. And, if it was, I sure didn't see it.

  • It seems that people didnt take notes from "Last Airbender" movie and noticed that if you cram an entire season in a movie of 2 hours it is going to suck (in this case 6 comic issues)

  • @EmperorOfLols In fact, lets analize this with the people on the comments. How is it that this movie gets only 1 movie compression of the 6 books and Twilight gets a movie for EACH book in their full and glorious dullness??

  • @EmperorOfLols Well, to be fair. Scott Pilgrim is six rather small Manga sized graphic novels, while Twilight is four full sized novels. Plus, the Scott Pilgrim fanbase isn't really that big when compared to something like Twilight. So, it was the wiser choice to cram as much into one movie in the event that it bombs and no sequel gets made.

Good God. I just defended Twilight. Suddenly, I feel horribly dirty.

  • @He11sing920 I feel the same as you do, by looking at the comment Emer.

  • @He11sing920 You said four full sized novels when in reality the books are "My life sucks even if a have all the world worshiping me and 2 handsome idiots to do my bidding" over and over so it doesnt count as. This "Manga" however i would say that its a deconstruction of the Manic Pixie Dream Girl concept sort of like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind combined with the magical realism of video games.

The movie in the other hand however...........yeah.

  • Sorry, i deleted a double post down here

  • You keep using that "Hipster" word; I dont think it means what it think it means. Seriously, what it is supposed to mean? Spoony said it isnt about hipsters, The Snob says it his, but what is it? someone who uses magic realism in his movies? someone who hates popular things?? So i guess Michael Bay its a Hipster, right? those things like "a good written plot" and "likable characters" are popular so that is why he made the Transformers movies, right?

  • THANK YOU HELLSING!!!!!!! This movie is a piece of crap and as you said basically for Hipsters! Thats factual, Great review, this movie is garbage!

  • For a time, I thought Michael Cera and Jesse Eisenburg were the same person.

  • Thank you! For once, there's someone who agrees with me on how boring and pretentious this film was!

  • I'm a fan of the comics/novel/whateverthefuck, and I've been procrastinating on watching the film because I thought it would be stupid! Now you have pretty much confirmed my suspicions!

  • when I saw it, it was better then I thought (yay low expectations?) but honestly... all the characters pissed me off, scott was a douche and a cheat, knives was an idiot, romana was a flake and honestly from what I heard the comic was better anyways as it had more character development and tied up more loose ends, the evil clone thing was cool though, otherwise *shrugs* not the epic masterpiece people say it is, but not the worst

  • @madamecrystal Scott's kinda SUPPOSED to be a douche and a cheat.

  • @TheAstuteConman yeah I know, that is one of the few things that kept me from throwing my popcorn at the screen and storming out of the theater but that doesn't mean characters like that don't rub me the wrong way. characters like that just naturally piss me off no matter what

  • @He11sing920 You have no idea how much this R&R pleases me! :D And here, I thought I was one of the only rare human beings on this planet that absolutely HATED this film and all the points of personal reference you gave as to why you didn't like the movie are all something I agree to 100% on. I still can't understand why this mess of a film is beloved by so many, when all it recks of as an entire film of nothing but overstyleized pretentious cockbaggery of shallow narrative and characterization.

  • @Gigamyt3 i hear that a lot with the lion king

a lot of people hate the lion king but i am the only one who hates empire strikes back

and loves the other 2 films

  • @lexlinkroy Wait a minute, there are other people out there who generally disliked the Lion King as well?! Holy Spice of life, now I'm even more amused and please that I'm not the only one who down right disliked the Lion King. Thanks for the reply! :)

  • @Gigamyt3 Confused Matthew hated it

and type in lion king is about Communism and there's another person who hates it

also that guy he11sing hates NC said TLK was overrated

heck i have seen people bash

    Citizen Kane

  • I disagree with almost everything you said on this review, but a lot of other people i know didn't like it for these reasons either (Different tastes). And i'm not a Hipster or a Weeaboo.

  • This was actually a refreshing review of it. I'm around many people that, like myself, enjoyed it, and many of them don't fit the Hipsters and Weeaboos but their level of gaming varies from the casual/old schoolers, or the hardcore ones. It did require (a lot of) disbelief suspension, but it was enjoyable. Hell, I'd buy it off you, I like it that much, considering I have a (Canadian present-based) copy already, lol. Still, it's good to see a negative review of it for a change.

  • @ProjectRevenant I agree

  • and now so many hipster's pissed themselves in anger..-u- I am pleased

  • I completely agree with this review. SP was shit.

  • But seriously, I'm disappointed on so many levels with you. I've been looking forward to this review for a really long time, since I thought at least you of all people would be more fair and accepting of this movie than DCE was, especially since you've stated that you like enjoyable popcorn flicks. Not to mention you kinda came off just as insulting towards those who actually enjoy this film. You think this only appeals to hipsters and weeaboos? Honestly? I thought you were better than that.

  • @SrslyFunny If you knew anything about me, you would also have known I don't stand for pretentious bullshit in my movies. Since this movie offered nothing but that, I am surprised you though I would say anything different than what I said.

Here's the truth of the matter, whether you want to admit it or not. You are just pissy because you can't accept that fact that there are people out there who won't like this movie.

    Get over it.

  • @He11sing920 Pardon me, I never said I was pissy over you not liking the movie. If you don't like it, that's fine. Sure, I honestly think that you might have been a bit too harsh on it, and I'm disappointed that your opinion doesn't parallel mine, but it's your opinion nonetheless. I'm more disappointed that you had to go as far as to insult the people who actually enjoy this film. Resorting to disrespectful labeling towards fans of this isn't exactly what I expected from you.

  • @SrslyFunny The level of butthurt is off the charts!

  • Oh, I'm sorry. I thought this was Reaction & Review with Hellsing920. Not Reaction & Rant with RandomDCE.

  • Damn, Hellsing. lol You pissed off a lot of fanboys. I can actually hear everyone pissing their pants. But I totally agree with you. I thought I was the only one who thought Michael Cera couldn't act. He was ok in Super Bad but that was about it. And I thought Jesse was ok in Zombie Land, but that was about it. They both sound too meak and timid in every role they play. Thats just me though.

  • Lemme guess, your doing Green lantern next time.

  • @Jeparino I'll be honest, I did'nt like Transformers 2, or 3. The first one was awesome, though. I also saw Red Tails, that movie is worth seeing :)

  • I respect your opinion but i like a lot of people have to disagree, i still think it was a great review and i really enjoy your videos. I will admit it was hard to watch because i thought you would enjoy it but again everyone it entitled to their opinion. I am not going to stop watching you or call you names like some people on here because they are most likely fan boys and since i have been watching your videos for a while i know how much you like those. Kidding, again great review.

  • I usually take your advice on what is shit and what is worth a watch. After watching this review, I think I will continue to do that. I have heard only the worst from this movie by people who generally know how to critique movies and the people I have heard from in support of this movie were always some half autistic beatnik looking creature with no sense of self thought.

  • @imanadult Roger Ebert liked this movie, and he's too pretentious to praise anything anymore. And how dare you bring Autism into this. I hope you enjoy hell after you die.

  • @DarthJoshReturns It seems I touched a nerve by mentioning autism, obviously you have it and I'm very sorry for your disability, truly. Please accept my apology.

  • @imanadult I'm sorry I lashed out at you. I'm a little sensitive about my disability and I hate it when people talk about it with little knowledge.
