  • what is this song at the bacground

    reaction plz

  • hello,

    please author of the song-music

    Thank you

  • @MrLolopl Adagio for strings by Samuel Barber

  • los vencedores escriben la historia

  • The WW2 German military was great, that is why it took the U.S. to defeat them. Over half of all U.S. citizens can trace their ancestry to Germany. It took Germans to defeat Germans.

  • @Owlbe a high proportion of the population has two or more ancestries

German Americans made up 17.1% of the U.S. population followed by Irish Americans at 12% as counted in the 2000 U.S. Census.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the number of people in the U.S. who reported American and no other ancestry increased from 12.4 million in 1990 to 20.2 million in 2000. This increase represents the largest numerical growth of any "ethnic group" in the United States during the 1990s.

  • battle of the bulge is studied massively at USA military colleges where Hitler is recognized in the open as true genius.

  • @SupplantThis thats cool, hitler wasnt an idiot, hints how he was able to take over most of europe. the germans put up a good fight at bastogne. unfortunatley for them americans have more men. but all in all americans won the battle.

  • @paulinotou Hitler was a sadistic fucking murdering moron you twitless asswipe my God the American POWS who died from German brutality. How in the fuck do your praise a murdering madman who murdered 56 million people. Hitler was an inbred psycho he was the product of Uncle niece marriage and thats why he was crazy!

  • @LottoWinner999 yah i agree, hitler was pretty crazy guy. and i would never praise him. i didnt realise how positive my comment was on him. but the germans were brave and fierce soldiers, also in WW1.

  • @paulinotou Basically Adolph Hitler is the product of inbreeding and a fine example of what happens when cousins marry cousins. Although he was a notorious hypochondriac and drug abuser maybe some of his physical ailments stemmed from the inbreeding issue. They were related on both sides of their family tree. One branch of the tree was a first degree relation and the other branch was a second degree relation. Thats why Hitler was a Psychotic deranged asswipe.

  • Try reading the interrogations and memoirs of the surviving Pnzr Commanders and High Command....thought Adolf was an idiot for building the Tiger Royal, Jagdpanther and larger weapons and pretty much most of the idiot weapons Adolf wanted. They wanted medium armored fast vehicles for maneuver. Hard to Blitzkrierg @ 10mph.....or less.

  • @koelschwolf Every soldier in the German army was in fact a supporter of the Nazi regime. What other German government was there for them to support? What other government do you suggest for which they may have fought? They may or may not have liked it, but they did support the Nazi regime. Germans POWs in prison in the US destroyed food, so that more food would not be available to ship to Europe, thus being partly responsible for significant starvation that occured after the end of the war.

  • wonder if the same german army during 1940 ardennes attack deploy in battle of bulge 1944 where german had superior number both troops and luftwaffe. Could allies repelled those gigantic attack?

  • @Jomokb76 In 1940 most german tanks had machineguns only. In 1944 most US tanks had 75mm gun, with great proliferation of antitank weapons.

  • @DonMeaker

Ok let say german got all their equipment like in 1944, which include tiger, panther, kingtiger and so on then added with 3 million army in 1940 offensive. What would u say? Did allied had a chance to stop them?

  • @Jomokb76 Certainly, because German horse drawn logistics could never have supplied such a force. As you conjure King Panthers out of thin air, you would also have to conjure some 200,000 trucks at the same time. The light tanks of 1940 put much less strain on the logistics system, and gave Germany the ability to perform operational penetrations, and 1940 French shortage of antitank weapons meant light tanks were effective.

  • @DonMeaker Thank You !! You see most comments on thse films follow the false idea that the German fighting machine was the greatest. You are obviously an educated man. Germany was shackled by it's lack of vision and adherance to antiquated ideas. What fools would ever think that teaming horse-drawn artillery and tiger tanks would work ? When the rest of the world was building aircraft carriers they were building monster battleships. Thier equipment was so complicated that it could not be repair

  • @Pyromancy451 Wannabees study armor thickness and gun size. Lieutenants study tactics. Generals study logistics.

I am a logistics engineer for a defense contractor. Hitler was impressed by curious monsters, like the Elephant and the King Tiger. Both hopeless except as a very expensive road block

  • @Pyromancy451 At this point, I always wonder why four countries had to unite to defeat Germany?

Whom do you mean with the rest of the world? With Operation paperclip no carriages were captured by allied forces. Fritz-X (Radio guided bomb), V2 missile) , Goliath (radio guided Tank) Arado 234 (Jet Bomber) Me 262 (Jet Fighter) Horton 229 (pure wing jet fighter) STG 44(assult rifle)...

  • @Pyromancy451 Of course the German fighting machine was the greates ( If put ideology outside ) even the Fritz helmet is adopted by the US Army today

  • JAja, die Herrenrasse, sind sie gefickt worden was? GUT so!

  • Thanks for sharing this. My great uncle fought at the Bulge.

  • Videos and pics like this really make me appreciate what we have today. Thanks to all men and women who served in all the wars!

  • Thank you for your video and for rembember.

  • Eddie from my favourite British program Bottom said in one program:

My father was in the war you know. Do you know what he used to say?

    No.

AHHH! Bloody Hell! Germans!!! Thousands of them! Mummy I want to go home! AAAAH AAAAH!

That explains the situation for the soldier better than Hollywood where they go:

    One million krauts storming us!

No problem! I just killed them all with my thompson. Shall we push on to Berlin?

Noo, let's just call it the end of the film.

  • Help! Germans everywhere!

  • The guy on the right in the turret of the Sherman tank on 1:41 of the video is my uncle. He was the loader in the first tank that broke into Bastogne. He would be killed some 3 months latter crossing the Rhine river. He fought with Pattons 37th Tank Battalion 4th armored division.

  • quanti morti "giovani vite" che si sono sacrificate per la Libertà---RIPOSINO IN PACE.

  • Truly one of the greatest and most ferocious campaigns in the history of warfare. Greetings to everyone! My name is Tim. I have just published a book entitled: WACHT AM RHEIN. It is all about the massive German buildup prior to launching the great Ardennes Counter Offensive. You can purchase it through Amazon and Barnes and Noble, or even through my publisher, XLIBRIS. It is a good book. I think that you will enjoy it.

  • my great uncle hobert was in the battle of the bulge he had shrapnel wounds

  • The first photo here is also on the front cover of Raymond Gantter´s book "Roll me over". Gantter, was drafted during 1944 and went with his platoon via Normandy into the Ardennes, then up to Harz in northern Germany. The last task was to enter Czechoslowakia just before May 1945. The soldier with eyeglasses, lying in the snow, is probably Gantter himself. "Roll me over" is the best Bulge narrative, from the viewpoint of a soldier, I think. Read it - it will seize you. Available on the net.

  • this world true rulers are people like Henry Kissinger who was office oficer in that time

  • Well damn, I was just about to add my comments when I noticed this last post saying this is some private party? I was under the impression everyone could place his comments here? Anyways my respects to the soldiers.

  • "Putyourpam" just shut up...you dont know shit about WWII. A house plant has a higher IQ than you will ever have. And i have prove that you dont know shit about WWII according to the Geneva convention if a prosinor tried to escape you have the right to shoot him. And BTW your Spelling & Grammar are terrible learn to read and write. And next time keep those comments to yourself you are no better than AL Qaida you cyber terrorist

  • WOW! Your a complete tool box! Not only do you not know what your talking about, you also criticize people about spelling and grammer while its quite obviouse your no better than any other 5 year old. At least do your reasearch before you open your cock holster!

  • WTF? from what hole did you crawl out? Anyways if you just look at the Geneva convention you will see that if a prisoner decides to escape the guards have the right to stop the suspect with any force necessary. BTW i know "putyourspam" he is a real SOB and no better than AL Qaida, so just stay out of it and keep your comments to you self.

  • One of the great and heroic battle victories in American history in those awful conditions. God Bless our Veterans!!

  • Great historical video.

  • the real pussies were the ones who shot unarmed american prisoners...im glad they burnt piper with him in his house.....he deserved it....

  • hey "jeepguy" 3 of those American Prisoners tried to escape (one got away) and according to the Geneva convention if a prisoner tryes to escape you have the right to shoot him. And some American prisoners were found with medical treatment How do you explain that hu? Peiper was a good man who was murdered by the allied after the war.

  • Yeah,"Blowtorch" Peiper was a great caring man, burned civilians women and children inside their homes etc.

  • let me guess you heard that from the "allied propaganda channel"?

  • There were corrupt people on all sides of the war. America shouldn't even have been in WWII. There is evidence of Pearl Harbor being a staged attack by the U.S. (probably mostly F.D.R.) you need to watch "Toro Toro Toro!" it is a documentary/movie about the 'sneak' attack on Pearl Harbor. As for the death of "Piper" "Many who die deserve life, many who live deserve death. Can you give it to them? Then do not be so quick to deal out death in judgment."-from J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings

  • No, we did not stage Pearl Harbor.

  • Actually nope! ;)

  • Nope =)

  • Porbably one of the biggest blunders on the German side, messing up 25 Divs. for a small piece of European real estate.

  • This video is great...I think the Allies doing great job at offensive of Ardens...

  • Music: Adagio for strings, used in the movie: Platoon about the war in Vietnam too.

  • thanks jerry *thumb up*

  • what's this music called? It's so familiar yet I can't recall its name. Please let me know, thx

  • A very drammatic story. Thanks.
