Angelina Jolie would steal the part of Wonder Woman if a WW remake ever happens. It should be set in the 1940s World War 2 Era America. Wonder Woman in the comics worked with the USA to help defeat the Axis Powers.

My Grand father worked on the Atomic Bomb project during World War 2. he brought the Wonder Woman comics and the Superman comics to work with him during those years. If he only knew about the Internet happening then...

He worked at Columbia University and on its project.

What a spirited opening for a children's show! No wonder I used to sing this theme as a kid, and its pro-feminist, self-empowerment rhetoric is much-needed even now. Years later, I discovered Yoko Ono's "Woman Power", predating the show by two years, sounds suspiciously like this funky theme, and it wouldn't be the first time Yoko picked up on vibes that were coming to the fore in the popular culture.

One of the best superhero TV shows ever! Linda Carter was perfect as Wonder Woman. I liked the first season of the show the best. It aired on ABC and the stories were set in the 1940s. The best from the first season were the Pilot and the one that introduced Debra Winger as Wonder Girl. After season one the show moved to CBS and was updated to the then present day 1970s. There were some good epidsodes from the CBS years (like the mind stealers episode with Vince Van Patten). Continued..
