Rabbits are naturally clean so you can housebreak them like cats. Mine used to go on a litter box placed in the corner of my room.

allright I had a bunny for three years. what you do is one of two things

1. litter box training. YES house rabbits can use litter boxes. just buy a specialized scoop and clay litter, and make sure they use it. if this is too bothersome,

2. newspaper...put it in a corner of a kitchen or garage, one on each floor, so that he/she wont pee everywhere. works like a charm!!

I remember the carpet pulling stage. Leave it alone long enough and you're looking at a pile of strands and getting creative about how to conceal it from the landlord. Is yours litter box trained? Mine was. Mine use to do tricks for Cheez It's. He even knew my work schedule. Great animals/pets. Had a Dutch, Hoto dwarf and a mini lop. The Dutch will always be my fav and to me are the intellects of the species.
