Considering the widely different cultural corners they both come from, this interview was pretty well-done, and funny, besides. "Budgie" is Brit & Aussie-speak for "parakeet" here in the US. But a lot of Americans wouldn't necessarily know that; obviously Tim didn't! But: What IS THAT THING ON GUNSTON'S HEAD?!? It's got to be a put-on, since it is the WORLD'S WORST COMB-OVER!!

Granted, a lot of the 'Australian-ness' of Normans comments etc may have been totally lost to Tim Allen, but then again, have you seen the Sally Struthers interview? No, he was funny, the problem is that he can't tell if the guy's for real or not...if you don't know that for sure, you don't know if you should be serious or play along and then you're probably wondering if the guy is making fun of you. There's probably like 100 things going through his head...he came off pretty good though and the Gunston character is great. That's some great acting there.
