OMG what a voice! I can't believe the only song I used to listen to was her so-called one-hit-wonder "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun." Man am I ever glad I checked out more of her music. It took a bit of growing on me but some songs like "She Bop," "All Through the Night," "One Track Mind," "Primtive," and "Ballad of Cleo and Joe" were love at first listen. This song gives me shivers. I belt it at random hours. Cyndi I love you. You've joined my top echelon of favorite female singers.
goodness poor thing she mustve been so tiiired after that shes a tough cookie! and the song is really cool its just so amazin that she would go through a concert while looking like shes about to pop!
(im not saying that as an insult for of a complement)
I saw Cyndi perform this song live twice when she opened for Tina Turner back in the the late 90"s and it was soooooo bad ass!!! She was getting down so hard, that people couldnt help but dance! She was SERIOUSLY going off the chain with it! Go ahead on Ms Cyndi!!!
@DRUMTOY2002 have you ever seen her sing this song for promo "shine tours2000-2001 " open show she worn the gozila suit . that the best show i ever seen
Notice, at 7 1/2 months pregnant. She couldnt hit high notes, the sound is a very low sound. Somethin Cyndi had to wait four months to get her singing voice back. GO CYNDI!
yeah, her voice was very deep during the SOA era! It surprised me. She could still hit a few notes depending on the song, but her voice really changed.
This is one of the best performances I have ever seen her do. That shout in the chorus is elemental. Such a great song. Great support from the band, as well.
This was very...very...very cool! Thanks for sharing!!!
