  • hey dude it seems like you are shoting 5 feet away and wow fuck that!

  • this guy sux! he doesnt reload the right way! hahahaha but ya i have tht gun! and it rocks! hahahah if u have one get a gallon of waater or milk and a hollow point and see wat happpens! hahah

  • I have a remington targetmaster, I got it from my dad, which he was given to by his dad. The rifle is 3 generations in, and definately shows it. Needless to say mine is NOT a pretty rifle, & grandpa used to shoot for food with it--he could kill rabbits easier & less expensively more often than larger game like deer, and they could save the little $ they had they would otherwise use at the store. Even as old & worn as it is, I can still hit a baseball sized target consistantly at 100yds offhand.

  • does your bolt get stuck sometimes when pulling it back? (Mine does)

  • I was given my Remington Targetmaster as a Christmas gift 36 years ago, it is still as accurate, with iron sights, as anything I have ever shot.

  • I've got a Model 41 that's from '38, still crazy accurate after 70 years.

  • yea, alright i hear 2 different things, one person says that a 22 only has enough power to penetrate 1 side of the skull and that the bullet bounces around inside, another person says it doesnt even go in, it just goes under the skin and around the head, who is right, this question is really bugging me cause its about i get about a 50 50 response

  • The correct work is "RECOIL" not kick. All smallarms (firearms) regardless of caliber have some form of recoil. Semi-automatic rifles have less recoil, compared to their bolt or lever action counterparts of same caliber, due a portion of the discharged gas being used to cycle either bolt, or piston rod that pushes the bolt. Regarding .223 Rem aka 5.56 NATO there is still a recoil. Even in an AR-15 carbine or rifle. The variations of barrel length, bullet weight, powder charge and rifling will

  • (cont.) affect the amount of recoil. In regards to ..."think .308 ...kick." I would recommend viewing "M1 Garand" on YT. This rifle was chambered for the .30-'06"; a slightly smaller caliber than .308. Cleary seen in the old WWII battle footage, the M1 rifle was recoiling (kicking) as each round was fired. Regarding the amount perceived recoil & threshold of pain: that is subjective. Some people are more psychologically &/or physically sensitive to recoil whether big or small, male or female.

  • 30-06 is actually a slightly biger long action caliber 308 is a slightly smaller short action caliber.

  • i have the same gun

  • hey i have a remington model 510 targetmaster. it's single shot too, and i think it may be the same rifle. do you know where i can find a bolt assembly for it?

  • The AR-15 (5.56) has no kick at all because there is no piston, it is directly gas operated

  • kick is due to the force it takes to propel an object forward. it has little to do with the piston. if you are in a vacuum and throw a rock away from you that is of equal mass you will travel backwards at the same speed. in order for a gun to fire a a projectile a force (Force = mass of projectile in grams times acceleration in m/s^2) must be exerted in the opposite direction

    idiot

  • .22 hardly has any kick but 5.56 and 7.62 have lots of kick

  • 5.56 (i.e. .223 Rem) has hardly any, actually...

  • well its alot more than a .22 i should no my m8s got a .223(5.56)but no where near as much as a 7.62 which another 1 of my m8s have got

  • doesnt look like it has any kick

  • .22 rifles never kick

  • aye, she is.
