Good choice of material. What you should do is write your own songs inspired by this style. It's a relatively unexplored genre. Also the bassist shouldn't wear the bass so low. He might think it looks cool but it's going to impede his playing.

yea I tapped it out, they're almost the same, about 130 BPM. I did it pretty roughly but actually, this cover came out at about 134-6 BPM. so regardless, comfortably numb is stupid because they didn't slow anything down.

it is great that dillinger shows a ton of emotion on stage. but it's for marketing purposes clearly. it's the "can't tap people on the shoulder anymore. You have to hit them with a sledgehammer to get their attention." you don't need them to act like monkeys to enjoy this.

I can see where Dillinger might get notoriety for such intense shows...but I'm sorry, this is music that is MEANT to be played and performed by intense people, with an intense stage presence. Going to a live show of ANY technical hardcore band, only to see them stand around concentrating solely on their instruments, instead of ripping through each song with violent fury is, in every means, a fucking shame. it's called emotion and it's a necessity.

I just don't think it should be the emphasis of the band. it's very tough to follow dillinger's more technical music. it's through listening to it carefully that you understand what they are about and how they are like nothing you've ever heard. And if you think they are emotional every time they hit the stage then you are very ignorant. it's still a business when it comes to touring. But it's not to say they aren't a killer fucking band.
