The truth is it was terribly anticlimatic. Considering the coldness of the last exchange, the only thing I can see in it is that they are trying to convey that the situation is in fact this soldier's bread and butter.. so its just another kill and moving on.

The previous cutscene before the last mission is also ridiculous. The four soldiers walking slowly towards the camera with the weapons on their shoulders while they are still in the middle of enemy territory surrounded by guerrillas.

The fact that there is no ending scene is not the worst part.

I made that final shot in about 1 second from aiming down scope.

Just an everyday "Aim and Shoot" reaction sniper shot that I had done 50 times in the campaign. Why couldn't it be like that one from COD4? (Wait for timing, high wind, things getting in way)

The final assassination was seriously, one of the easiest major sniper shots in the game.

For that matter, they could have had "Clear the entire camp within 10 seconds or something.
