  • is this y pigeons saved our lifes during wars?? u sick son of a bitch...

  • you have been reported! by me as well you little fucking bitch!

  • Shooting banded birds is illegal and someone should seriously be going to jail!!!

  • Want to have fun shooting a gun? Join the army. You'll know what it really means!

  • @jpsnapdy

I sincerely hope that you consider our military as a more important, and honorable function than simply "having fun with guns."

  • you people are sick, first of all those aren't wild fearl pigeons, they have bands on their legs which mean they are somebodies birds. you are killing someones pets, or better yet liveliyhood, those birds are expencive and are racing. they make money. how would you like it if some shot your dog for sport.." hey it had a collar on i got extra points for that dog."

  • @EquinePainter109: We are aware of what the bands mean. We hunt feral pigeons. One out of every 200 will shoot will have a band.. we don't sit outside a pigeon racer's coop, and shoot his pets. We shoot at dairies, and feedlots, out in the middle of the country. Farmers love it because it helps them get rid of a pest. we love it because we get to watch the birds decoy, and enjoy a good shoot. If you're worried about someones pigeon, tell them to not let their birds go feral. Thanks for watching!

  • @EquinePainter109 Last I checked my dot doesn't fly around taking endless shits on everyone elses stuff...

  • It´s just awefull to murder other people pets!

  • I don't mean to be all angry im just curious but im from England and im just wondering why are people so fussed about banded birds?

  • where do you hunt?

  • A good pigeon shoot is great fun but remember every live pigeon eats spilled grain that would otherwise be eaten by rodents. No one has ever gotten sick from a pigeon but rodents can spoil a lot for feed grain. Very cool decoys though! Where can i buy them.

  • Nice shooting. Nice video

  • you are big chit

  • Excellent video!!

  • What type of choke do you use because if shot one from 25 yards away on the ground and it still wouldnt die your thoughts

  • @2010maggiemay

I have a turkey choke on my gun, but it's a little excessive, and makes them harder to hit. Most people we hunt with do very well with an improved, or full choke. They are indeed very tough, and resilient birds. We hunt pigeons like crazy, but we respect them for how tough they are.

  • I assume that you are using the buy-it-by-the-100-bulk-pack of #7 or #8 bird shot (available at wallyworld for about $25). If not then what?

  • @penguinistas

That's exactly right! The 7.5 shot game load. 4 boxes for $22 or something like that.

  • @andyp311 hi there im from Ireland its 71 dollars for 250 bulk pack , so you make sure you dont miss lol nice vids dude

  • Hey man, great video! Can you get them to land? I'm thinking about the possibility to use these decoys for pigeon hunting with an airgun.

  • @zenflins

They land in the decoys all day long if the wind is right. We're going to try to do a bow hunting vid on pigeons later this year.

  • Please, turn your baseball cap the right way, backwards is a sign of ignorance.

To all you bleeding hearts, these are rats with wings, flying vermin, so please let these guys enjoy themselves without your BS.

  • sweet video, i love me some pigeon hunting those decoys looked legit

  • Great job on your video. Keep up the good work.

  • I shoot pigeons off of my property because they destroy the area they live in. They crap and vomit everywhere. Once their poo dries in the hot sun, it becomes a nasty airborne dust which can effect your upper-respiratory. I hunt them with a break-barrel pellet rifle with non-toxic pellets. I have to clean up the mess they left, which can be pretty hard, because they find tricky nesting spots.

  • Ive shot feral pigeons on a grain farm by the barns and its great fun. Here in Ireland we call them flying rats and yes they do carry diseases

keep up the good work guys

  • that looks so fun im goin pigeon hunting today and ill post how it turns out

  • To all the haters: Feral pigeons are considered pests that carry diseases. Even if we didn't hunt them, or advocate pigeon hunting, the State would inevitable go to each dairy in pigeon infested areas, and poison them. Hunting is not an unethical practice. Pigeon hunting in this manner is perfectly legal, and encouraged by the State, and by land owners.

  • Everyone: I know what banded pigeons are. We don't shoot banded birds out of the air from someones pigeon coop. We hunt feral pigeons in the North America, wood pigeons in Europe, and spotted wing pigeons in South America. Any bands we collect are from pigeons that were lost, and joined wild flocks.

  • If pigeons are coming into the decoys then they are no longer racing pigeons! I'm not into spoiling anyone elses fun and if they fly straight over i leave them but if they approach the decoys then they are fair game in my opinion.

  • one rule, dont shoot the cows!! ps pigeon is tastey please dont waste em. happy hunting, nice decoys

  • Unbelievable, I was fortunate to hunt with Neal and Andy today... The morning hunt with the Soar No More decoys, 53 birds, in 45 minutes.... I have hunted pigeons for over twenty years, and have never seen them react and decoy like they did today... as for hunting ducks and geese over pigeons.... Oh Hell Yeah, No Limits, No Rules.. and for those banded birds.. Birds of a Feather...... Die together..

Thanks for the phenominal hunt guys...

  • Yeah, that's right about the banded birds, they are racing domesticated birds. My uncle used to race them from 100 miles and clock 'em. I remember him saying some never made it home. Now, I know why "O.O"

  • Actually, that banded bird was a domestic race bird and likely worth on the order of $100- $1000 and, at least, in this state is off-limits. As for the ferals, have fun taking them out.

  • pigeon band realy worth that much?

  • i believe that brown pigeons are more rewarding then banded pigeons

  • have you ever used paper plates folded with spray paint

  • what is so good about pigeons with bands on them?

  • those birds must be close to lose all those feathers, i was shooting the same birds her in the uk and i ahev never seen the feathers come out like that? how close are they 15m?

  • what kind of loads are you useing at those ranges?

  • just cheap lead loads. 2 3/4 in 7.5 shot.

  • how come you shoot the 1 with the bands is there a reason or just to celloct them

  • just to collect them: adds a little bonus to the hunt.

  • that guy looksl ike matt damon

    great video and good shooting

  • What kind of camera are you using to get those barrel shots?

  • a Oregon scientific helmet cam. It comes with straps, and work awesome

  • What do you guys do with all the birds??

  • Friekin' Awesome! You guys made some awesome film on the impact shots! I love the last of the mohicans music in the background too.....makes the whole thing seem kind of heroic...LOL

  • I know... I had this vid up with a different song on the intro, and had to take it down.

  • youtube is becoming very bitchy.

Also, I had a squirrel hunting video up with 60,000 hits and they took it down because it "violated TOS"... I dont understand how some hunting videos are violations, but some aren't.

  • Excellent video fellas; I feel your pain!

  • where are you all at? when duck season closes we hunt snow geese until late march, then we fish until turkey... but man during feb, i know how you feel...

  • We're in Idaho, and don't get snow geese around here... and then what do you do in June, July, and August?

  • well in june we fish.. thats about all there is to do.. in july we frog gig, and august we gig if we can, but usually we just get ready for hunting in sept. we dont exactly have pigeons around here unless they are in city limits...

  • That's exactly what we do when the waterfowl season closes

  • frog gig, fish, cry....lol, odlid, and 77tbird are guys i hunt with, so were all in the same boat.. its funny but your intro is EXACtLY what we do... we dont really have many pigeons around "the few that are live in town... pellet guns work well"
