  • @TheVickigirl You can use 430EXs or you can even buy wireless receivers and use third party flash guns like the ones made by Yongnuo, they are $45 each.

  • mmmmmmmmmmmmmm ya !!!

  • Thank you! Can you make a monolight (sensor on) and a speedlight (as slave) work harmoniously. I get dissapointing underexposure from the monolight.

  • This is one of the better tutorials I've seen, very nice work and easy to replicate. I'll use it.

  • @FreePhotographyTips is there any specific reason why you use umbrellas instead of softboxes? thx and great work btw

  • @46544521 the difference between a softbox and an umbrella is that the softbox will give you a more directional lighting, the umbrella will spread out the light more and give you a more ambient light. ideal for boudoir... I guess that's the reason.

  • OMG!!!! GREAT tutorial, thank you

  • Cool vid! Thx to Michael!

    Keep up the good work!

  • Just a quick note.. I just bought your ebook. Excellent. If anyone here is considering a book @ $15us this is worth it it at 5x the price.. It is basically a breakdown of everything he does. His style of writing is just like how he talks here, very to the point and with his humor. Even if you dont shoot hot semi-naked people, there is enough in there you can get to raise you to another level.

  • no need to subscribe to anyone else, best photography channel is right here !!

  • in your diagram, i noticed when you showed the camera you had 10000k on there. Just wondering what that is and how do you go about doing that if it is something you change on the camera? Looks great!

  • @OutcastEntertain

Thats in the White Balance setting under K for Kelvin a unit of measurement for temperature. 10000 is the warmest (orange) down to 2500 being the coldest or (blue)

  • Ye good work :)

  • Why not just adjust white balance in post production? Is there a benefit to doing this in-camera?

  • @sKIPper76M why not try to get a great picture straight from the camera??

  • @bossisdead Because maybe getting the colors as accurate as possible is more important than skipping a step in post production. In any case, if you are shooting in RAW, this is a moot issue.

  • Another good video Michael, I like the fact that you're not gear heavy. A simple 40" umbrella and a couple of speedlights.

  • Good overview

  • Great Video ..............Thanx

  • Great video like always! Thanks for sharing.
