personally, I have a bunch of respect for Crosby. I like Ovechkin more than him; not because he's better, but because I like his crazy and energy-filled style of play as opposed to Crosby's measured and playmaker style of play. People hate crosby because he's been seen taking a dive or two. Guess what, everyone else dives, too. I say he legitimately beats his competition, and not by hitting them or playing dirty. he can pass, he can shoot, and he can deke. He's one of the best players in the NHL right now, if not the best. Anyone who hates this guy should really rethink exactly why they hate him- he's just a man out to play the game in its purest form. And that's exactly how everyone should play.

That part at the end (Golden goal!) sends chills down my spine. It's just so amazing what young Sidney Crosby has accomplished already. He plays the game with so much passion, heart and dedication. Those three traits combined defines what it means to be a hockey player. It's reminiscent of Sakic and Yzerman and all the greats of the past generation. One day all the haters will talk about how great he was, on and off the ice.

Love these videos, but please don't fool around with the colours so much. I want to see Crosby, not colours that change with the beat. Same with the infrequent clips that change in time with the beat - it's a cool thing, but it makes it impossible to really appreciate what the player did, which is the whole point of why I watch these videos. Having said that, I love them, I only have very minor complaints, and please keep them coming!

Because... why? As a die-hard Canucks fan, I think that Crosby deserved the Hart over Sedin. He doesn't have as many highlight-reel goals as Ovechkin or others (although he has a few), but he is an amazing player who continues to get better at every facet of his game. He ialso has enough highlights to make a video from, which should really be the defining criteria.

No, those were two completely different thoughts that I didn't seperate well. Crosby deserved to win the Hart trophy because of how solid he is in both the offensive zone and the neutral zone, how he can actually get it out of his own zone, and because he continues to improve in every facet of his game - such as faceoffs.

Second thought - Crosby has quite a few highlight-reel goals.

Conclusion: Crosby deserves to have a highlight video made for him.
