Similar taste in books to me... I love Kurt Vonnegut, haven't read Slapstick or Hocus Pocus yet though. Also don't like Chuck Palahniuk as much as I used to.

Reading American Psycho at the moment, think it's a bit over-rated but it's alright.

I saw her live and she's simply not funny. How the fuck did she win awards? I'm not trying to be nasty, I genuinely am curious. What do people see in her? When I saw her, hardly anyone laughed. I saw another performance on tv, and barely any laughs there either. And that was supposed to show how "brilliant" and "fresh" she is. She claims she is "turning comedy on its head", by not being funny? I really don't get it. Is she completely overrated or just an aquired taste? Or has the world gone mad?
