@glynnth Not true..low Tech savvy people are using Firefox for web browsing with Add-ons like Ghostery,NO-SCRIPT,ADDBUSTER ect and by staying away from places like Google YouTube and all the OTHER companies they own is HOW WE MAKE a difference.

@connectingdots1 I love ghostery! I've used it for many months and wouldn't change a thing! I'm floored by just how many trackers are out there! Sometimes 11-13 or more per site!!!  No Script and Better Privacy are must have's also.

Connecting, I can't join you on zippcast because I can't get an account with zippcast. Another commentor mentioned the same thing. They do not send a confirmation email after you register, which is the only way you can join. Also, I don't think you're allowed to comment. There's got to be something better than zippcast.

Maybe try with another email account like Hotmail,open 1 specifically for responses & upload notifications, keep a separate email account for personal stuff.

Hotmail accounts are free so try as many times needed to register w/ Zippcast cause I'm out of this "Tracking forum censoring prison"

@mic374 @mic374 yes there are comments and i got my confirmation email seconds after registering , Zipp cast will grow , it is a bit slower than you tube but has alot of potential to be what you tube should have been, as for google start page dot com helps with the privacy issue .

@CanterburyCat Ghostery is another very popular script blocker, it is more automated than No Script. I have both, for the average person,Ghostery is great. If you want more control and are more of a techie, then No Script should be your fist choice. Once you install these, you may be shocked at the amount of scripts and trackers that are on many web sites. (Google analytics is everywhere of course, but it gets blocked too!).

If we really want to piss off "the powers that be", we need to boycott their whole system. Stop using their Internet that allows them into our homes. We need to all switch to ham radios to pass information along. Quit sending emails, except for work purposes. Quit sharing anything online or over a cell phone. They can't get what we don't give. And they can't make $ off of things we don't use. We've done it before and we can do it again. Convenient, no. Effective, yes.
