  • DAMN!!!! - is the only word necessary to describe this.

  • simply beautiful!

i like all the changes he has made to the original song!

  • that's my teacher! go fred!

i need to go to one of your concerts

    =]

  • I studied with fred for a couple of semesters at grossmont college, i can easily say that he is an amazing talented outgoing standup person with a passion not only for music but for teaching. Mr. Bennedeti if you read this, i just studied with juan serrano in fresno...very cool stuff! Amazing playing and great vid...as usual:)

  • Yay, this guy rocks! I wish I could take more classes from him...*sob*

  • Very nicely done. Nice to hear an version not so watered down as many like to do. I have always been under the impression that Flamenco is meant to be interpreted and note played note for note. There is an art in the improvisation.

  • He's a master guitarist!

    More! More!

    Annie Nice

  • Very stylish!

  • You're rendition of tempestad is inspiring, this piece is a standard in my repertoire, I enjoyed immensely hearing how other guitarists have interpreted one of Serrano's great pieces.

  • I love it!

    now play Scatman!

  • He plays this song very well... i would love to get some tablature...

  • fred benedetti is going to play with me and my guitar class january 10 at dana middle.not lying!im so lucky!

  • awesome, love the ending especially

  • Beautiful job! I love it!

  • What a sadness: only 4 comments and only 4 stars for such a fabulous performance?!?

Fred, you are brilliant. Your playing is full of colors and true life, and what you do with your guitar is so beautiful that tears came in my eyes while listening it.

    Like wrote djgph: pure brilliance!

    Take care, Fred!!!

    Take care, we need you!

  • thank you for a prompt response

  • the guitar amplified sounds so natural.I would love to know what make guitar and amplification. The sound is both brilliant and natural sounding.

  • Thanks for the compliments! The guitar is a 1964 Jose Ramirez Flamenco. I have an old barcus-berry/martin thinline piezo pickup under the saddle. The amps are: Fishman Performer Pro going through a Bose L1 Model I system.

  • Just pure brilliance, I love it!

  • Fred is the best. He teaches at Grossmont CC and SDSU I think, if you happen to be in San Diego.
