  • how much did the microkorg and drum machine cost?

  • All you lazy asses asking for the settings- read the manual, alter your own settings, and get your own sounds! Stop trying to waste this guy's flavor. But, uh... seriously DistrictCloud... how'd you go about making that? :P

  • Fart-Step

  • @Relentlessv2 hahahahaha yes.

  • fucking sick bro keep doing that

  • @PROXY902

    /agree.

  • just got me one of these! How bout sharing the settings you use pleez!

  • Nice mate

  • that was some of the sickest dubstep ive ever heard!

  • Couple of timing issues, which can be hard when playing with a delay. Just keep listening to the beat, not your own sound and you'll be fine!

  • Hey man, just letting ya know that i subscribed cos my mate has a microkorg yet i couldn't quite figure out how to get this sound (which i love). Please feel free to inbox me with an idea of the settings. I maybe getting the r3 which i hope can do the same....

  • you need to speed up and decel the wobble

  • Badassedness. You have it.

  • :D!

  • ew dude this sooooooo nasty!!!!!!!! straight bobbing my head deude

  • This is inspirin me to play about with my microkorg settings now . . .

  • i subbed :) can you tell us how you did this ?

  • ...hi, can I use the keyboard to play sounds on the microkorg? I know that the keys are smaller than normal, but I want to be able to play the sounds inside the synthesizer part. Can the keyboard do that?

Also, can the microphone be detached from the microkorg so that I can store it in the closet when I am not using it? I need it to go on the top shelf in the closet. Can I do that?

Lastly, do the knobs on the synth part rotate in both directions? I need to be able to go both ways.

    Thx.

  • where did you get the sound from? i don't think my microKorg has that sound you were playing D:

  • @XxChrisxXBedofRazors it is on the microkorg , i made it on there.

  • @DistrictCloud

Wow so i just have to mess with the LFO's?

  • @XxChrisxXBedofRazors With the MicroKORG being a synthesizer, it can create more sounds than just what Korg's programmers put into it. The programs are kind of like starting points. You can edit them to sound totally different if you so please.

  • @XxChrisxXBedofRazors It's a synthesizer. If there's a sound that you want, and it isn't a preset, you fucking make it yourself.

  • hey whats that little drum machine your using?

  • Hey what are those things your using? what are they called? like the key board and bear maker thing, please reply.

  • 0.23 seconds JIZZZZ!

  • @macturbo789 No

  • \,,,/ tight \,,,/

  • shits pretty hard

  • You Deserve A Lot Of Money.

  • @superblahmk now theres a comment i like :)

  • @superblahmk if only i could like this comment multiple times

  • i just jizzed my pants

  • Dude, how on earth do you obtain this best of a sound?

  • @MeowsRevenge *beast

  • Would be funny if it was just used as a midi controller and you are just listening to some patch in Massive :X

  • hell of a nice sound man

  • that is some nice bass. how did u do that?

  • unreal man

  • this is sick mannn !!! what programmes you use for this ? like mods on the keyboard or through software ?

  • could you tell me how to get this sound?

  • i subscribed so how do you do that :D

  • i think its funny when people think that this is not good but they dont look at the like bar compared to the dislike bar

  • Dont listen to others..

I bet most cant play or think they can..

the begininng was pretty filthy though..

    keep jammin

  • Would a micro korg combines with a kaoss pad make good dubstep?

  • Could you send me the settings? Pleeease, im a subscriber ^^

  • tutorial PLEASE!!!!!!!!

  • dude this was sick!

  • Theres like absolutely 0 bass though... lame

  • @GeoffPlaysKeys It was recorded with a microphone from the sound from the speakers. What do you expect.

  • I actually like this alot

  • Nasty tight sound mate! like it.

All these comments askin how you did it.... jeezus, some ppl seriously shouldnt own synths if they cant even be bothered to put the effort in and discover cool sounds by actualy programming them!

  • @Electromachines yeah seriously, people need to GTFO with "what's your settings?" that's what makes a producer recognizable, a signature sound. So don't ask me for mine either.

  • it sounds good... kind of "oldschool" as it is not the new crazy-always-changing dubstep (with dozens of different synth lines and tons of automation), although that sound is nasty and could perfectly fit into a new dubstep hit... i used to have a microkorg... i should of kept it and learned it better...

  • @mynmyself if you like post dub as you describe here check my channel, i've been producing for 10 years, I promise if you like filthy and progressive you'll be feelin it

  • Wow, I never thought I would never find this much valuable info in youtube comments 0_0

  • sounds fucking good

  • Can you email me the settings to get this noise because this is the kinda shit I wanna do with my Microkorg but I don't know if I need other programs or equipment to make it

  • attatching this to my bad ass speakers

  • subscribed how do i do it?

  • he just delayed the amp so it fades in -.- wubs are from filter cutoff, dirt is from experimentation, it is all made easier through knowledge of your synth. this kid doesnt even know man, people think they're good. ther not.

  • @Call0fTree first of all- not a kid , second, im not all cocky saying im good or better then anyone else, im just putting up stuff that i like doing, and third, i have sooooo much knowledge of my synth ,you dont even know, hmm maybe its because i never told you. And i dont see you doing any better. soo fuck off.

  • @DistrictCloud im just saying, its simple stuff, add more too it, it wud be good. use filter cut off instead of delaying the attack, and ud get a much dirtier wub. sorry i was hating earlier, i have an m-audio venom, it makes the dubstep stuff a little easier i guess.

  • @Call0fTree i already know it could be alot better. i would love to add alot of stuff to it. but this vid is showing what i can do with just the 2 instruments. and that was just a sound i liked. i can do alot more

  • @DistrictCloud I think it's good the way it is. Just saying. Good job, man.

  • @DistrictCloud just so you know.....not all "dubstep" patches/presets are LFO'd to a LP filter. the LFO is sent to any fucking parameter you want. as long as the thing sounds good...then your good.

in other words fuck off and shut the fuck up

  • @Soldatnatio bitch you shut the fuck up. im not trying to please you...if you dont like it justt go watch something else.. i dont need you hating.. and aparently it does sound good if there over 45k views alredy. i dont care anything that you say.. ima do what i want. soo you get outa here and you fuck off!!

  • @DistrictCloud lol....that comment was actually meant for @Call0fTree....yeah.....consider that :D

  • @Soldatnatio well it was at me. u mest up there

  • @DistrictCloud i know :D

  • @fingerdeep666 wobble =/= dubstep

  • @fingerdeep666 who's counting?

  • ahhh brings back memories of connecting to the internet in 1995...

  • @skeletonbite lol!

  • @skeletonbite lol

  • hey man i love your stuff, i subd aswell. anychance your still sending the settings? please message me

  • hey man i just subbed could you please msj me the settings? (:

  • Can you send me the settings and whatever to get this sound? i subscribed :)

  • Awesome, how did you get that sound on the MK?

  • k so i am in a slight pickle. i am finally getting a synth! i have two options. should i get the microkorg in like 6 months of saving or a novation ultranova in like 8 months of saving? i'm strongly leaning towaard the novation

  • @mrmoosedoctor Microkorg man, A lot of professionals use them too , its not like its a toy

  • @YoYoYiggedyYoO

alright haha you guys have swayed me. ya the ultranova is really pricey. i researched the shit out of both of them and read the entire manuals and everything and i realized with the ultranova your really just paying 300 extra dollars for full sized keys, more memory, 2 more bands of vocoding power and those fancy touch sensitive knobs haha. i really love how raw the microkorg is though. thanks for all the replies.

  • Sick dude! Any pointers on how to get started making my own dubstep patches for my microkorg? I see you've got a bunch of vids with other patches that are just as caked in filth. Any settings I could grab from you would be awesome.

  • Man, so many trash talkers on youtube. No surprise, the average intelligence of most youtubers doesn't even register. Mad props as always for your music - it's not about fucking talent, or skills, or your fucking kit. It's about the goddamn music and if the music is good, even to one listener, then fuck all the rest bro. 1-UP.

  • so in your opinion which zoom machine is better? sb-246 (what you are using) or the rt-123 because i'm getting an rt-123 soon and i wanna know if that's a good decision haha.

  • This is a load of shit..

  • awesome dude! keep on doin' this

  • Hey dude can you PM me settings/wobble sound?

  • DudE thiss is Venomous

  • Comment removed

  • No wobble basss AKA bass and drums not dubstep ya noobs

  • @ImIntoAnimals your fool Dubstep does not need wobble bass it can have any bass and the drums can be anything so do you really think you know every thing about Dubstep well before you comment try and research what Dubstep is.

  • all you people commenting that this is a "good wobble" don't know dick about dubstep

  • my tracks are way better, just sayin

  • how much was that drum machine?

  • dubstep is in in right now

  • also, please tell me the diff. oscillators and filter settings you used. thats is a heavey ass wobble kid!

  • very good wobble - can you explain some things to me. i have the roland sh-01 synth and i can get some great wobbles, however i am having difficulty understanding how to achieve the sound you get around 0:23 --- also curious if you have the capability to adjust the rate in real time or if this is a fixed rate (if you get what im saying...curious if you can get that womp womp wommmmm wommm womm wommmwomp). i am posting another vid today of my wobble attemps lol - take a look and give me tips

  • @dkrasney turn the attack knob up.. so it filters in slowly :)

check out my page , i ahve a few dub songs on MK

  • Beast shit bro :D

  • I really appreciate that you are doing this live.

  • I really appreciate that you are doing this live.

  • send me patch please

    rivrav@live.com.au

  • Anyway to make a talking bass on a mokrokorg? Like the yayaya yeyeye yoyoyo

  • @MrWant2Know no you can't you have to use a negative envelope (witch micro korg cannot do).

no "yeah yo" sounds.... unless you use the vocoder. but I doub't you want the crappy microkorg vocoder sound...

  • @KaslarProductions actualy it can do , because i have done it and achieved that yayaya yo yo yo sound

  • @DistrictCloud I don't believe you. but I don't care either way.

  • @DistrictCloud @KaslarProductions you can do this - its not that hard haha x

  • crazy man

  • do you have to learn piano to play dubstep like this or no?

  • @PhotoGraffable

no dude!!! I never had piano lessons and i can make some filthy dubstep!

I suggest just play with it and discover it and maybe find some basic theory on the web and you i'm sure you will make some filthy dubstep dude!

  • For all the people that keep posting saying they want the directions to do this you need to study some synthesis theory. It's not very hard to understand how it works you just need to make the effort to study it because it will help you be so much more creative. Also you can route the mod wheel to the LFO so that you can control the rate by moving the mod wheel. That's what's you hear when the sounds speeding up and slowing down. Also, a lot of dubstep, tech, dnb songs have layered basses as too

  • @tastelesstouch youre gay hahahahuahaha

  • @tastelesstouch youre gay

  • @quarter34534 Well some people actually like to learn how to do things properly instead of just pushing one button and having someone else do it for you. It seems others agree by the thumbs up. I haven't seen any intelligent and helpful contributions you've made. Also, you only need to post one reply you jackass.

  • @tastelesstouch the problem i have is getting the grindy sounds i can get a good basic dubstep wobble but getting the machiney grindy sounds is pretty hard

  • @chaz9123 Im not too sure what you mean by "machine" sounds. If it's aoutmation changes like you hear in a lot of dubstep then you can't really produce this on the microkorg alone. Alot of people use Native Instrument's Massive which has a feature called the performer that lets you "paint" in different waveforms for the LFO modulation which is how people get that technical bass sound. If you want to dirty up your microkorg sound you can try the noise generator or "white noise" waveform in OSC1

  • @tastelesstouch Alot harder on the microkorg tho, i have one

  • @tastelesstouch i so concur on that, it takes a good 6 months for me to start turnin out badass shit like this, i use a mini KP as a beat/efx and complements each other great!

  • @tastelesstouch exactly man

  • @tastelesstouch SHUT THE FUCK UP, SOME PEOPLE JUST WANT A HELPING HAND ON HOW TO CREATE A NOISE ON A MICROKORG, NOT TO DEEPLY RESEARCH SYNTHESIS THEORY

PLUS A TUTORIAL ON THIS WOULD TAKE FUCKING 10 MINUTES!

  • @bnvkte n00b

  • @bnvkte maybe you should watch the tuts up already and learn from that? people arent willing to share stuff they spent hours learning and making themsevles to just open it up to everyone otherwise a majority of songs would be exactly the same. Learn the basics then just practice. and if you cant be arsed then music really isnt your thing.

  • @tastelesstouch you post the settings then. :) Some people just want to pick a patch.

  • @tastelesstouch " It's not very hard to understand how it works you just need to make the effort to study it " considering about 90% of dubstep sounds are created through experimentation, studying will do nothing to help you create filthy basses
