I've been a little surprised at the size of the marina; I've only seen it once or twice from a train window. Larger than I expected. Next time I'm down, I must actually get off at Watchet! LOL!
Glad they preserved the S&D 2-8-0; such a handsome locomotive, even painted the wrong colour!
I'm sure you would find a welcome at the station! I recently bought a book showing locos lined up in the Barry scrapyard. There was number 53808, now numbered 88, in 1964 and it was due to stay there until rescued for restoration in 1970. You would never believe it seeing the loco today!
