@babydragon1236 Once you remove a small screw, the flash hider twists on and off. As long as you have the special screw thing, you should be okay.

Hey I've been thinking of getting this gun but the reviews I've seen of it are all completely different and there seems to be no majority to whether its good or bad. You seem to know your gun very well so are this gun worth it if I really wanted an AUG? The reviews say that the vertical foregrip is wobbly and cheap but I've seen JG selling reinforced spare grips. Whats your opinion on this gun?

@JTWilliams74 The grip is wobbly and cheap but because you know that you won't break it. I've had mine for over 2 years and everything besides semi auto is in full working condition.

I 100% recommend this gun, just don't get it with the built in scope.

A sniper scope IS useful when your gun (My gun) reaches up to 200+ FT. Designated as DMR. Designated MARKSMEN Rifle. You need a scope to see farther out, or to find a hiding person. also, i have a silencer that actually does supress, you just have to fill with foam

@michelecartagena16 Putting a silencer on my MP5K actually made a pretty big difference, i would almost call it necessary actually, as the muzzlenoise was pretty loud, due to a high power gearbox and extra short (110mm) barrel.

Silencer for airsoft guns :

Co2 powered: reduces noise about 55%( cause the sound comes from liberating the co2)

Green Gas (or other similar gas) powered: reduces noise about 48%

Spring Powered: reduces noise about 33%

Battery powered : reduces noise about 0%, it's USELESS. ANYWAY, IT LOOKS AWESOME INDEED.

The only quality of this is that it has a silencer, a black/darkish silver silencer. Mine still has the orange tip; though, it doesn't bother me as much because it's shaped exactly like the regular odd flash-hider in real life.

U hav to take it to a local airsoft store, and they'll easily make it so u can twist ur silencer on and off. U can go to evike.com to get a good silencer if not better than that one in the video.

I often fir eon semi-auto to maintain accuracy and so that I don't need to reload (wind the mag) as much and I'm curious to as how you know when to do so when it comes.

@Transformers2themax I've fired the gun enough to know when to wind the mag, keep up airsoft and you'll get used to it too. And watch out with the semi auto, mine broke after like 2 months of use.

@TwinsFan9495 Well, I've had mine since after the New Year and I've had no trouble. Besides, I clean my Aug a lot. Perhaps, you're not using the right BBs. I suggest using the biodegradable Crossman BBs. Twelve or so dollars for 5,000 .20 gram BBs that are not only gonna last you a while but are also harmless to the environment is a great deal. Like I said, I've had the container since January/February and the container's not even close to being half empty. Though, I don't fire my Aug a lot.

But one of them didn't do anything at all for the overall noise level. They only muffle the sound of the BB leaving the barrel (surprisingly loud). From 30 feet plus, people tend to not even be able to hear me shooting, just BB's hitting them and around their surroundings.

Plus, they can make your gun look really cool :P

A real silencer has a special foam inside of it, allowing it to capture the sound made by the gas of a bullet being shot out the barrel, thus muffling the sound since it is this compressed gas that makes the noise.

On an airsoft gun, all the noise comes from within the gearbox, so placing a silencer on the end of the barrel does nothing. Plus airsoft silencers don't have the special foam, it would be illegal.

I've done multiple tests with friends and such shooting the gun with and without the silencer, not telling them how I am shooting it. They can always tell when I have the silencer on and when it is removed... maybe it's just luck, or maybe its the foam rings that fill the silencer absorbing some of the noise of the BB leaving the barrel.

I don't know if the muffle would make much difference just to be muffled in combat, but definitely do some tests out in the field if you can, I'd like to know, if so I might buy a silencer for myself.

its not that bad, its called a bullpup design which allows the barrel to go behind the trigger shrinking the gun but keepin accuracy
