  • sweetie women have been leeching off of men for millenia, and now you're too good to leech off of a leech (ie lawyer/doctor)?

to answer your dumbass question, leeches arent good for people, never were. they were used to get rid of "bad blood" in plague victims in europe, which led to even swifter deaths.

and yes ive had leeches in my life. most were cute blondes with cute accents, which ended in copious amounts of bad blood.

  • your hot but fuck you are annoying.. just shut the fuck up and show us your tits and fanny you dumbass blonde

  • Another drama queen.

  • Love your sister...BLOOD...

  • If you listen closely, that thing above her tits makes noise.

  • Yes love, lots of leeches.

I want to know what I was poisoned with but my social life is hampered by pushing sensations, I kept touching my ear and left cheek.

    Arsnic? Antomony?

    Help save Robert Alexander Jones.

Ask David Icke or see his forum for bob_Jones

  • Well leeches can get rid of any bacteria under the skin. Also, they can relieve blood clots and provide an anesthetic

  • @swords433 they help joint pains too:)

  • When do we get to meet your sister?

  • leeches are good for doctors because they have a chemical in their blood that nombs the skin nd keeps the blood from clotting

  • hey my last name is leech!!

  • lieke is not a dutch word i am dutch.

lieke is a dutch name though

  • Can we see your sister cuz im interested

  • leech are good to drain blood that is obstaculized in an apendix preventing damage to the tissue (that with no blood running will ran out of oxigen causing the irreparable death of cells.)

  • -geek ¬¬

  • i guess her sister isnt pretty

  • belive me... she is O_o go to her website :P there's a link to her sister's youtube acc there :>

  • We should bring back the medicinal usage, since doctors are definitely good at leeching your money (and, as has been noted, are now using leeches for their anticoagulant and other circulation-manipulating effects).

  • Actually, leeches are a good tool in medicine

  • FelixSpade, the second comment, was correct. Doctors were often barbers (hair cutters) and the red stripe on a Barber Pole represents blood running down a human arm!

  • Interesting. Maybe you know already, but in Denmark a doctor is still called 'læge'. The animal has a completely different word here, 'igle'.

  • Doctors used leeches around the time that America was founded because they believed that if you were sick then the sickness was in your blood. Therefore, if they drained your blood, they would also drain the sickness. They would use leeches to do this, and in more serious cases, they would cut a patient and drain there blood into a pan. If I remember correctly, they would sometimes drain as much as a quart (about one liter) at a time. I learned this on a field trip in 5th grade. :)

  • um actually one of ure boobs....preferably the left one is UNEVEN and WAY BIGGER than ure right one.. idk you might wanna get that uh checked out or sumtin :)

  • That's DEFINITELY the lighting. xD

  • i love marina

  • shes hot. I like the accent too.

  • A leech was believed to suck the impurities from blood therefore curing the patient. I have one leech in my life.

  • You better have deep pockets because there also know for money sucking bank accounts.

  • a leech can also be someone that steals your birth right,id name,or your life.

  • UR boobs are uneven

  • its more common among chix than you might think apparently its like 1 in 3

  • lol i kno how common tat is im a girl ;)

  • I LOVE YOU, YOU ARE SO HOT!!!!

  • why you always reference to dutch words instead of german words :P got someone there?

  • There are two types of animal that are called 'blood sucking leeches'. The fist is that worm like animal you find in amp places. The other you will find in court rooms - also known as lawyer.

  • We need boobs!

  • She is a stunning creation of God.

  • Amen to that.

  • MILF

  • wow this is very intereting

  • well now that you left his lame ass you should come with me!

bleeding someone used to be thought to heal them of diseases...other forms of bleeding existed as well but using leeches was fairly common.

  • the substance in the leeches saliva is an anticoagulant plus the sucking of the little monster causes blod to flow thus leeches are used in cases where wounds are not healing properly

  • Doctors use to use leeches to suck up blood when somebody had a fever, because back then it was believed that when somebody has a fever they have too much blood.

  • u r sexy!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • It was only recently that I realized that the man in my life is a leech. He refuses to get his own credit cards, so if we ever need anything for the house, he relies on my credit to do so. Also, he is an emotional leech, wanting so much in exchange for nothing.

  • Ditch the bastard and come and live with me. I will kiss your toes and buy you flowers. ;-)

  • should probably find out if shes into being the subject of a botanist and foot fetishist first before you make your pitch

  • i love ur accent <3<3<3

  • maybe the goo or slime leeches have on them could be used like aloe vera.

  • My doctor is a leech, too!

  • Leeches Drain blood, which they thought was good. It was thought that some sickness was caused by excess blood. The reason they are still used is because they engorge on recovering wounds, draining the puss and hastening recovery. A Potential benefit is that they force the body to create new fresh blood, more so than normal. (This is more commonly seen by donating blood, which is good Karma as well.) That is why some people got better. It would probably help high blood pressure too.

  • Does she actually have a sister? haha

  • ok intelligence is sexy but ur a fucking idiot people just want u to take ur cloths off and dance on a table

  • Yes, I have a Leech in my life and she is called my ex-wife whom at 44 has been living with her mother all her life other then the three years we were married and who I have to pay an average of $640.77 a month for one child yet she earns plenty in the medical profession to have a place of her own.

  • leech-good or bad?

    depends on who you are

  • I'm just not going say what I was going to say :)

  • but...you...arent....that....hot........or smart. your logic is stupid. and your accent is fake :)

  • piiitttcchhh! leech in my life?? my sister..

  • her sister is a hunch back with bad skin and a raging yeast infection

  • please show us Your sister im sure she is Hot like You:) thank You dear Teacher:)

  • leeches were good for people because they were user to suck the bad blood out of patients. but this method was stopped because people weren't sure if it worked.

i have encounterd leeches. i had to pull one off a turtle. (and my doctor)=)

  • I've actually read several articles for which Leeches are/can still be used for medicinal purposes. This is usually doen by applying the leech to sections of human tissues which are badly infected, bruised, or damaged. The leeches will suck out the dead blood or infected fluids and help to aid the body recover.

  • leeches were valued for their bloodletting ability. Bloodletting was a technique that allowed a healer or doctor to, obviously, drain quantities of blood from a patient. The rationale for bloodletting has changed over the past couple of centuries, but it was mainly used for blood related issues like toxins or hypertension. It is rarely used today because more practical skills have arisen, but is still used in cases where the body produces more than needed blood products

  • Before the germ theory became widely accepted, doctors used to think that sickness was caused by "bad humors" in the blood. So, they would bleed someone either with leeches or by cutting them with knives. A great many people who might have recovered from their illness ended up dying of the cure.

The biggest leech I know has been running this oountry for the past 7+ years.

  • Leeches actually can be used medially today to keep the blood circulating and keep away infection on large wounds. And my parents and brother are total leeches.

  • HELLO MY JEW STUDENTS

  • Great one!but when are you going to introduce your sister to us?

    WE WANT TO MEET HER!

    WE WANT TO MEET HER!

    WE WANT TO MEET HER!

    WE WANT TO MEET HER!

    WE WANT TO MEET HER!

    .....

thats what your students deserve! lol!

  • I was in a play called The Country Wife, it was written around 1650 and one of the characters was the Quack. He would put leeches on other characters who were sick to cure them because people then believed thatall sickness was your blood. So they would attach a leech to you to suck out your blood and allow you to produce new blood, thus curing the disease. This practice was called bloodletting. Until of corse they discovered that wasn't true and you were just losing blood.

  • "Leechers" is avery common kind of people that we used to find in school :)

  • I try to listen to what your saying, I really do but for a "philologist" I cant understand one fucking word your saying, I find my mind drifts to images of my penis smacking off of your nose and what sounds that might make.

  • yo my mom is a leech.

  • Brotherdevil, you are thinking of maggots, which, although similar looking, are completely unrelated to leeches. If you replace the word "leech" with the word "maggot" in your post, everything you said is factual.

  • also, leeches suck your blood, they do not eat rotten flesh! blukaczl is right tho, they do use leeches now, but for completly different reasons than they used to. also, a leech was just a new way of bleeding someone, which meant that you cut a hole in someone and let them bleed for a while. this had the same purpose as the leeches, to let out any poisons that where making the patient sick. like the leeches, this uaually made the patient sicker, or killed them

  • actually, leeches are a horrible way to cure someone, they actually made people worse! the old idea was that the leech, by sucking your blood, would also suck out whatever poison was making you sick. of course, this weakened the patient, making them unable to fight the disease. patients often died, but that was considered normal, so no one thought that the practice was a bad thing. hope that helps!

  • I liek you :-)

  • Im going to be a doctor!

  • the point of the leech is it could be used to eat out rotten flesh and would leave the healthy flesh and skin flesh alone. they were thought to cure all things from baldness to well almost anything. even bullet wounds if they were lucky enough to survive would sometimes use them to get all the rotting flesh out. they are used in hospitals today though as they are a good medicine when you know what you are doing. theyre are farms that breed leaches.

  • healing art as in you put it in to your wound and eat out all the rotten flesh used by the doctors till around the 20th century and are used again today. lol.

  • Latin name for a leech is Hirudo Medicinalis. It is still used to reduce swelling and to prevent veins from being clotted, because substance produced by leeches named "hirudin" has thrombolitic activity. Nowdays hirudin is produced in bio-tech labs instead of being extracted from leeches. It is known as lepirudin and desirudin. Leeches (doctors) still use leeches (hirudin) nowdays.

  • I'M A LEECH

    RAWRRR

  • Strange but true: Christ used to be known as the soul's leech. You can find this usage in the Pardoner's tale, one of Geoffrey Chaucer's Canterbury Tales: "And Jesu Christ, soul's healer, aye, the leech."

...From a linguist and, like you, a lover of words and their origins.

  • Yes Sub 4 sub !

    Yes Sub 4 sub !

    Yes Sub 4 sub !

    Yes Sub 4 sub !

  • Leeches are still used today by certain doctors, after surgery in some patients to reduce swelling because of blood. Doctors sometimes use these leeches because the leech releases a ant-pain like substance so the patients don't even feel it.

  • we still use liche's today in the medical field believe it or not. Though they aren't used for blood leading as they were in the past. They are now used for either reattaching appendages, or making swelling go down. Often times when reattaching like fingers or something, the blood will not circulate properly, so they put a liche on the appropriate side of it, causing a vaccum effect, and forcing the blood through.

  • u sick son of a bitch jk :)

  • Leeches suck the blood from body parts that has been damaged, either by cold temperature or loss of blood circulation. The leech sucks out damaged blood cells, leaving room for new fresh blood to stream into the void.

  • Do you suppose we, your viewing audience and DEVOTED fans might be able to one day see (watch...) you and your sister """"together"""? What you do """together""" isn't as important as how you """visually""" """""""interact"""""" ;)

  • Leeches are still used today to increase circulation to damaged tissues. Their saliva contains an anticoagulant (blood thinner) that keeps blood from clotting. Good for plastic surgery, burn victims, or badly minced areas. They work better than micro-infusion techniques.
