I started in this hobby in 1984 with a Grasshopper, which I still have and run often. I love the little buggy, but yours is the coolest Grasshopper I've ever seen! Nice job modding it out (and nice driving in the video, too)!
Thank you for a comment, I think stock Grasshopper must be faster than mine runs straight if it sets same motor because it is lighter more than 100g than mine and it has no joints on its axles.
But, it might overturn at every corner if it doesn't make slowdown enough.
I'm getting a720 motor for the original grass hopper it is so smashed up it is in a million peices

1:35 You gotta love how it handles the corners just as well as the on-street in front of it! :D

Are you running the 380 motor in this or one of the 540 hop up motors?

Does RTR ready to race mean that NO assembly is required? Thanks

@MPDLR all you need to do is charge the batteries and put them in the car.

I would love to mod out my old Grasshopper like this - do you have a set of directions anywhere?
MrGreyZ 4 years ago
Wow, fantastic mod. What parts did you use? How did you seal the gearbox? How did you anchor the lower suspension arms to the chassis and gearbox?
I'd love to have a close look at this car. Please make a website with close up hi-res photos!
