@sueshishi The friends organized a birthday party for rachel and invited both of her parents, which couldn't stand each other because they were divorcing at the time...so they kept rachel's mom in monica's appartment and her dad in Joey and Chandler's, but mr Green's coat was in Monica's appartment and he needed his glasses and his cigarettes but they couldn't let him go across the hall so Ross had to go and get it :D
