America has the most freedoms than any other country, so it's only logical that the gays here would be even more gay than gays in Africa, or New Zealand.

In the US, gays are unable to get married, they lack legal protection, and up until yesterday, they couldn't serve openly in the military. In Canada and some of the other allied nations, gays have legal protection from hate and discrimination based on their sexual orientation, they can get married, and they are able to serve openly in the military. I hope the US catches up soon!

the whole point of the gay rights movement or any movement for minorities is that everyone should be able to be/do whatever he or she wants. We do not want equal rights only for gays that are able to conform and look "straight". We want equal rights for everyone, whether they look queer, they are transvestites with a 5 o'clock beard or a butch lesbian. And if they want to stroll around wearing a pink bikini, so be it - society needs to be able to embrace variety, even within the gay community.

@RyanJamesYezakBlog You're video was so inspirational to me. I read all the comments before watching, and honestly didn't think the video would make me cry. But I did tear up. I am a serious advocator for gay rights, I write to my local newspaper almost every single day on behalf of people like you. :)
I have a best friend who is a cross dresser and am forced to listen to the rude remarks that he recieves. I am working hard for equality and I love you for what you do! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!

One of my best friend is gay and he is out and proud and I am so happy for him and I have so much respect for him. I love him to bits, and I love you all as well. Be who you are, be out and proud! the whole point of the gay rights movement or any movement for minorities is that everyone should be able to be/do whatever he or she wants. We do not want equal rights only for gays that are able to conform and look "straight". We want equal rights for everyone, whether they look queer, they are transvestites with a 5 o'clock beard or a butch lesbian. And if they want to stroll around wearing a pink bikini, so be it - society needs to be able to embrace variety, even within the gay community.

Your'e pretty much amazing! There is no way that expressing yourself and being recognized for it can set any movement back. Since we are an "invisible" minority we need to be recognized if anything is ever to improve. Just like drag your videos are an art form of who you are. Thanks!

Can't believe people are making a fuzz over this.
Of course it's hilariously over-the-top, but what I see is some people having fun, doing what they like and being self-ironic in the process. I don't see why gays shouldn't be allowed to have some fun and be even silly (and at the same time very creative!) - is that equality, that gays have to take care about everything they do, because people might be offended?
It's sad that some viewers obviously lack the ability to laugh at themselves.
