  • stupid review

  • Review means you talk about it. We all know what it looks like

  • cheap piece of crap for a lens

  • hah ive got the Canon EF II 50mm f1.4 :P

  • @somsof62 who cares, the sigma f1.4 is way better than yours.

  • Mahti lenssi, ollu jo pari viikkoa käytössä.

  • 1:18 Carefully duude this lens is very sensible

  • the bokeh on this lens is terrible.. that is reason enough to switch to the 1.4 IMO

  • nice job getting dust into your camera buddy, dust falls down, not up. thats why you have your camera face the floor while switching lens.

  • Hi, what is the recommended way to change lenses? Thanks

  • @delavegaz6 = = = Just hold the camera, lens section facing downwards, and mount the lens like this. This is the best way i read and know

  • nice job getting dust into your camera. dust falls down, not up. thats why you face it down to the floor when switching lens

  • I bought one of these just to see how much better a prime lens could be over a zoom lens, it`s awsome..! Makes all my other mid range zooms obsolete...I can`t afford top of the range long lenses so i just get closer with Primes. This lens is a steal at £75.00.

  • the 1,8ll 50mm is much better than the 1,4, I just love the bokeh, for this price you cant have a better lens. People always think the more they pax the happier they will be...not her my friends! It is so lovely light and short that you can even put it in your pocket. Why waste 500$ for a 1,4?? WHY?? I

  • Right. By the Way, which use has a metal mount on a lens wich weights only 130g?

  • you never leave a lens open and sitting on a desk vulnerable like that. You always put a lens cap on is and store it somewhere safe. There were numerous times when I thought your arm was going to knock it down and every time I cringed for the life of your lens. Seriously, I really hope your lens did not get any dust in it bc you left it open like that.

  • Lol it is a cheap lens :D

  • @Zyygeli123 i didn't call it cheap. i call it inexpensive. this lens is more usefull than kit lenses or the like.

  • I definitely agree with you. First of all, it doesn't matter if it's a cheap glass or not. Glasses are glasses and should be handle with all care. You want to keep on using your 18-55, you take care of it even though you have a 50mm F/1.8.

    1. You do not change lens like that because leaving the shutter facing upwards will accumulate dust as it falls.

    2. Since you have the lens cover for the 50mm, couldn't you just take that cover and cover your 18-55?

    3. Take better care of your lens.

  • @thatgirlkelly1 there's always going to be dust in your lens..every time u switch a lens you risk getting it "dusty"

  • @ch0w Yes, But no point into purposely allowing it to get in :)

Good video though. I bought this lens a little after I left that much older comment. It's alright, VERY BRIGHT but getting a sharp photo is hard in my opinion. I"m saving my money for the 10-22mm! That lens is AMAZING!!

  • @thatgirlkelly1

    Sorry mum!

  • You look like you haven't used camera equipment before.

But anyways, I've been using my 50mm 1.8 for alooong time now I love using it.

  • Whoever says things like "bro" is a Jabroni.

  • haha I laughed when I read this man... good work

  • lol jabroni

  • I sold this lens last summer.

  • jcwhatcounts20, you sound like a large fag... hmm.. yes... a large fag, i think that's the right term, "bro".

  • Whatever you say, Chief.

  • who cares if its plastic what are you a war photographer

  • @JcWhatCounts20 hey you if you have the money buy him a expensive lens.

because does lenses are cheap but works for the job or hobby that maybe he is doing.

    thanks

hey buy him the lens ok :-)

    have a great day

    thanks

  • @JcWhatCounts20 Idiot.

It's got extremely nice image quality, for extremely little money.

  • Who thought silence could be so damn annoying

  • I'm sorry that you are mute. Let's hope the scientists find a way to fix that.

  • Bloody hell take it easy mate try not to rip the box you may want to sell it again, Yes the rear cap screws off anticlockwise LOL' Throw the camera strap at the keyboard 'great stuff'

  • Is it good for timelapse photography? Im thinking of buying this camera.

  • Get the 450d or XSi, it's better than the 400d or XTi

  • Pappa betalar?

  • 100e objektiivi?

  • hey since you've owned this for quite some time now, are you satisfied with the build quality now?

  • DOesn't it comes w/ the hood?

    That sucks.

  • only the Canon "L" series lens come with lens hoods, other than that it's an accessory. BS right?

  • "only the Canon "L" series lens come with lens hoods, other than that it's an accessory. BS right?"

BS indeed, only Canon can. Still love their cameras though.

  • Agreed, Canon cameras are one of the best I've ever owned. None others can compare to the build quality and performance.

  • I agree with you 100% :-)

  • Nikons can actually

  • none of the lenses come with a hood

until you get to the L lenses which are over 1000

  • You don't really need a hood for the 50 mils. i Don't use one with mine and I have no problems with flair.

  • Canon's Nifty Fifty rules!! Good lens... Enjoy! Just got the hood for mine today.

  • would have been nice to see some shots produced by the lens...

  • That was intense

  • xDdd
