Thanks for this video and making me remember the fucking man that is fucking Death. I was wondering how exactly they could possibly take down Cas in his nuke-juiced state of godliness. After seeing this I remember that Death told Dean even he and God's time must come. Cas, meet the badass they call Death. =D

i love the modern take on the horsemen this one was the best ever entrance in any tv programme ive ever seen if im honest!it was better than lucifers!and u no wat im most surprised about?! the fact that i havent heard of anyone makin complaints about supernatural (like from religious groups) which is wat ud expect from the fuckin pc brigade these days! ithot a load of stuff wud get complained about like castiels drinkin n watnot! lol!just 2 make it clear i wasnt hoping it wud b complained about!

Going to do a photoshoot in due time with the four horsemen as the theme. Supernatural gave me some great ideas to work with. Death is one hell of an awesome character and one of those who can actually put Dean in his place (like Bobby) without trying. lol not even Lucifer could do that.

That he's there for em and in times of extreme dire won't forget Sam and Dean. But sees fit not to intervene in everything saving everyone's ass from devils and monsters. Good parallel imo. @amunro7 lol no you haven't that's a great take on it, actually. Makes sense that he's mapped out a series of events and helps direct Sam and Dean to the best branch of action for humanity's sake. That would be awesome but then I'd be afraid of the cost I'd have to potentially pay if anything happened to a damn sexy car like that. If I had to get vehicles for them, I'd try to get Mustangs in the corresponding colours for the horse effect.
That intro establishes right away that this is possibly the most powerful character in a show that manages to make "god" and "the devil" seem like ordinary mundane characters, that is a feat in itself.
Sure, there are many personifications of Death, like gods, semi-gods, demons, skelatons and angels (some say Michael is also Death O_O) but who cares! Our Religion has a guy with a deadly scythe, riding on a skelaton horse and walking with other three horsemens making the four the horsemen of the Apocalypse.
In order to survive, the only way to survive is to look beneath the visible world, cause in the end, no one escape's death... and today, just maybe your day to die.... =)

too bad that they went and ruined it by giving his the "I'll reap God too" lines. uhmmm... death's power took hold after the fall of man, which was in the universe that God CREATED... so how does death even remotely apply to him?? where the writers drunk or something? saying he could kill the archangels might've been a better choice IMO
I think it's hinting towards God not having created the universe in this show, possibly that he acts as the benefactor of mankind guiding them with his religion. Hopefully it'll be explained in the next season.
All through seven four and five when they talk about lucifier being angry at god for putting humans above anges this implies that god created man, and there are also other gods 2 episodes before this one, with the Norse, Hindu, pagan, ancient roman gods, they all got killed by Lucifer whom inst even a reaper, so of course if this is the model to go by, god can be reaped....i guess it goes with the saying "everything that has a beginning must have an end."

The God (Capital G) of Christianity is the same being as the God of Judism, which overall puts the starting point MUCH further back doesn't it?? 3,000 to 4,000 years or so? the writers didn't do research maybe? as for the death lines... is he going to reap War Famine and Pestilance too? If not why can he reap God but not them? Are they stronger than God?

and i do love how death is gonna make dean and sam say yes with just saying a few words to dean, while all of heaven failed to do so, with the most brutal methods :D (cuz not even dean is stupid enough to try to cheat death, would be foolish)
