I think Sakuya's desperation move is easier to dodge than her usual attacks, because she doesn't move/teleport as often.

@wetyewruyrtsutrdhjfg All in all she's one of the easier people to start with and a very good boss to practice learning how to properly dodge in this game with for those new to the game and still thinking it's running on Megaman rules. Either variation of her weapon being very useful, and getting it immediately, is also a plus.

@Flarelong Twilight Frontier did this, Super Marisa Land, Super Marisa World (I think), as well as the Touhou fighting games. Who knows what else Twilight Frontier is capable of making?

@TimeFireProductions  They also made Higurashi Daybreak, which was basically a clone of the Gundam VS games but with Higurashi stuff. Another excellent product by TasoFro. They also made Eternal Fighter Zero, one of my favorite fighting games.

TasoFro did not make Super Marisa WORLD, they did make Land, though Land is pretty terrible. However as of C78 they redeemed themselves entirely and then some with New Super Marisa Land, which is absolutely amazing.

I am not a big fan of mega man ... mainly coz I suck at platform games O_O. I checked this out because its a touhou ... but you did really well avoiding those traps ... i would have died 3 mins into the game XD

Watching this through makes me want to suggest a run of RosenkreuzStilette. It's very similar in nature to this wonderful game, and has it's own neat little twists, I'm sure you'd like it a lot.

@TonyTheTGR Years too late in mentioning that. Beaten it long ago and have been anxiously waiting for the sequel, but they keep delaying it every comiket. It's visually more impressive, but much easier than MegaMari, though both are amazing games in their own rights.

@daken000 It's a series of bullet hell shooters, popular for its ever increasing cast of relatively colorful characters and for its awesome music. Pretty much anything else important I explain as it comes up in the rest of the playthrough.

I admit this game is hell on a computer, but what did you use to make this LP?

Back then the best I had was Camtasia. If you mean hell on a computer by that it ran poorly, then you're really lacking some component because the system requirements are pretty low by today's standards. If you just mean it's hard, I'll really have to disagree with that as I pretty much show in this LP that its fearsome reputation is somewhat overstated.
