I have a question about pool placement.

I see a lot of zerg players put the pool between the hatch and extractor to make the gas drones go around it. Why is that? Does it make them move faster?

you put them in a group with a slow moving unit such as what he used a Overlord and they will auto stack as you go along

you select the mutas in a group with either larva or overlords, then you make the mutas run in a circle or 2 and they stack

macro is like building units or buildings while you are microing and or doing other stuff...

if you don't select an overlord or larva mutalisks don't stack all on top of one another and they can be targeted individually and don't do damage all at the same time.
