I remember running this train in tests. It was great, but WAY too fast for the subways. I got the train up to 80 mph. A damned shame what happened to them.

R110A was a demostration train that built in 1992 to test out the new technology

R110A came out in the early 1990s and the design served as its predecessors of the R142s. Unfortunately, it was never put into service and only ten cars (car #8001-8010) were built.
