  • OMG Is that the guy from The Human Centipede?! *yuk*

  • how they hell can they make a film, were terrorists blows the ship, there is yet no fact óf the reason estonia really sank, it could be terrorists, but it could also just be an accident -.-

  • haha, this film is fucking terrible. the actors are horrendously bad, i can't believe donald sutherland was in this....

  • @epoxyforexample you're right, the film isn't that good... but there's quite an interesting documentary on the DVD, so I don't regret having bought it. i.m.o. the included documentary is even better than the (obviously imagined) story of the movie.

don't know if its anywhere on the web

  • I just watched a documentary about the Estonia. Interesting stuff, especially the fact it WAS carrying military equipment. (Apparently just electronics.)

My opinion would be that ALL theories contributed to the sinking: bad weather, aging ship, problems with the door and (maybe) even sabotage.

  • it was proberly closed

  • Dutchies tries just to safe Meyer's glory by inventing stupid reasons. Estonia was planned to sail between Turku and Stockholm, and there is archipelago, and so, not big storms. But between Tallinn and Stockholm is. Estonia's bow was too weak for 9 m waves. Storm was quilty! We finns, we know EVERYTHING about Estonia, so, SHUT THE FUCK UP!

  • @kakkiaane Trying to shut people up is always a sign that one a) doesn't know anything much or b) has something to hide.

  • This movie is full of shit. Storm was guilty to Estonia's sinking! It is truth!

  • @kakkiaane storm... bullshit!

  • @kakkiaane then explain the whole in the side of the hull that was discovered on a 2000 expedition to the wreck and why the plates of the hull is bent outward. If it was a collision they would be bent inward but they are bent outward like and explosion

  • @kakkiaane yes, probably, but not the storm it self. A ship that size should be able to sail in such a storm. My theory is that the locking device on the bow vizor had a faulty construction, also it didn´t seem to be very well maintained, because Estonia didn´t have the same safety sea regulations as Sweden, at least not in that time. The MS Diana II (Estonias sister-ship) had the same problems with its bow vizor in 1993, a year before Estonia sank. It almoust lost its bow vizor too.

  • The front wasn't properly closed and the waves opened it allowing the water come in.

  • @Ints12345

There's actually no proof of that ever happening. When divers initially inspected the wreck the day after the sinking, they reported that the visor was present at the wreck, but then later completely changed their story.

  • the shooting part is so fail :D

  • russians have their hands behind many things...but this story is retarded. as good as claiming that al qaeda or aliens bombed titanic...

  • @Fulcrum87 you're the retarded one and leave titanic out of it there is a cover up to do with estonia and everyone knows it i would have thought being from where you are from you'd know what the russians are prepared to do

  • @Fulcrum87 indeed

  • new proper investigation sweden and finland now

  • Put up the full movie please!

  • I think that's still weird that noone is allowed to investigate it...

  • never seen the movie but...its obviously the goverment hide and recreate evidence and reasons for the ship sinking. they just do a bigger misstake hiding more facts, doing crappy accident reports, people haven't forgotten this accident and someday it will be the truth that bubbles to the surfaceso, the mor they lie,the more embarasing in the end it will be. Movie seems well donne, its banned here -.-'gues what, im from sweden..thats retarded ban a movie!

  • @ajlisknillat you have to see it it's really good the guy in das boot is in it

  • 1:42 the guy with the ak 47 is crapping his pants! O_O

  • The movie represents an interesting theory, there is no question about that. But there is absolutley no eveidence what so ever that Estonia was blown up in the middle of the baltic sea that night!

Jutta Rabe arranged a diving expedition to the wreck in 2000 to find out if there was any evidence of an explosion and they found absolutley nothing! Rabe says that she has proof but she have never released anything in the press, a bit strange since she is a journalist!

  • Holy shit, this movie is horrible.

  • i have this movie

  • The visor is not importent.

Water came into ship from below...

The water came in UNDER the visor-level.

    That mean what,Lusitaniac???

So forget everything about the visor and weather.Unless you wants to move focus away from the problem.

    I'm a sailor,im not a fool....:-)

  • HAHAHHAHAHAHA Good one ;) Lusitaniac xD

  • sorry, but the movie wasn't very good....there was so few snapshots about the accident and the ferry....there was only 1 estonian actor in the movie, althought in real life there was much more...but why the visor came off ? i still believe that it wasn't caused by the bomb...i believe it was caused by the bad weather and constructions were not very good too...

  • So THE bomb didn't cause it? Haha get out of here :P

  • can this movie be found somewhere? to buy?

  • I found DVD of Baltic Storm at Dollar Tree store. It's sold in a cardboard sleeve, not a plastic DVD case. It has same art work & film info, just a cheaper copy. Hard to believe that such a well-made film ends up in the deep discount remainder bin at a dollar store, while crappy H'wood movies are still selling for $15-30 retail. Perhaps the dollar store destiny of Baltic Storm has its own conspiracy we'll someday see a film about...

  • There's also so much proof of inside job regarding 9/11. Watch the documentary Zeitgeist the movie.

  • I´m a very rational person.. I absoluetly do not belive in those conspiracies like about 9/11

but with the Estonia ferry... I think there´s so much being hidden by the goverments!!!

  • It was the bowvisor!

First it was to big and the ferry didn't have any Atlantic Doors that is right beheind the visor.

The waves pushed up the visor untill the locks broken.

The big bangs people heard was the visor that hit the hull when it fall off.

Then the water flooded the cardeck and the ferry capzaised and sank.

  • then why did lab tests show that there had been an explosion? give me a break!

  • Give me a break, I know to mutch about tha ferry, me and my garndfather know the captain, poor man... anyway, I know the ship in detail, and I know how bad it was, I mean constructed.

It wasn't even build to sail that last route.

Also, can you explain the damage on the locks on the visor?

  • It was not very bad weather that night.

  • @HunterMann Not in this movie, but it was one of... well, here in Sweden one of our biggest storms ever.

  • Ask Carl Bildt or Mona Sahlin next time you meet them, as they are both in on the cover-up as well as many others.

  • Yes, there was a bomb. There was even a second bomb that never went off and that was found later. Everyone knows about this, but since it has not been mentioned in the media, everyone keeps silent.

  • no, there was no bomb in Estonias cardeck. The big waves broke the locks to the bowvisor.

  • You believe that if it gives you any comfort. For all you others, Jutta Rabe's documentary also contains valuable information as well as a recent episode of swedish "Uppdrag granskning".

  • I don't know what to believe, but there was no bomb.

  • What makes you so sure? Read the books that have been silenced, have a look at the pictures and testimonials available in Sweden, Estonia and elsewhere.

  • I would rather believe in the official version than speculation.

  • tell me how in hell u can know dat?

  • there was never that BIG BANG (the clip where people were sitting in the bar, heard a big bang and then jumped up). Some people heard weird sounds, like two metallic bangs, but not an explosion.

    This movie is a sci-fi

  • True, the sounds came from the bolts keeping the bow visor wich started to rotate and cut the front metal. There was no bomb, even if many say there was.

  • OMG that punch Sound effect is so retro

  • very sad movie. It was made with a restricted budget and it shows. The plot is unrealistic, a man searching for his son who died in the accident...

  • I wanna see this movie =o

  • There were atleast 50 minutes to evacuate into the lifeboats. More than 137 people should have made it out alive.

  • The crew was unefficient and not trained properly. Also, even though it took 50 minutes to sink, the severe listing prevented any normal evacuation.

  • A friends family member died on that boat. Im not sure what happened. But I know there was speculations on that the front was opened by an explosion. Something is wrong with all this.

  • As long as the swedish and estonian government cover up what raelly happent with Estonia spaculations will appear. Only reasnoble sollution is to raise the ship. The Sweedish government wanted to use concreet to cower the wreck so that noone should find out what happend. They said it would bee to prevent divers to enter the ship because it is a tomb. I dont believe in them. Something happend there and someone have an interest in covering it up. Bastards.

  • this is how many people died: Out of a total of 989 passengers and crew on board 137 were saved. The accident claimed 852 lives (wikipedia)

  • Fucking russian KGB... They killed people in Baltic during 50 years, and they still go on to do this.... :( :(

  • @alexxxxxx23 you fool what about CIA MI6 fucking americans

  • baaaaaaaaaaaaaad

  • stupid heartless morons!

they see KGB everywhere, even here..

  • Boring movie. I saw it on Serbian television. And I don´t believe this is the way it happened. I think that they should not make a movie like this based on guesses and conspiracies when the families and victims still suffers from the trauma. The film is bullshit.

  • Well the trailer was a lot better than the film itself.
