Religion= modern society not taking responsibility for anything what so ever, confess and anything you do or will do,you didn't do after you confess it.
Try information Theory and DNA. Pretty much proves Intelligent Design. There's more proof just in that than all the "interpreted" evidence provided by evolution. Including the millions of years attributed to dinosaurs.
@webhutspain (1 of 2) "Try information Theory and DNA. Pretty much proves Intelligent Design."
By "information theory" you are presumably referring to the feeble attempts by some creationists to show numerically that evolution is improbable. Those calculations have been proven wrong, as they are based on faulty premises and methods.
@webhutspain (2 of 2) By examining DNA molecules in detail, we find clear and conclusive evidence of evolution. For example, we find DNA segments from other species, nonfunctional segments, coding errors, redundant genes, and remnants of viral infections. DNA is obviously an evolved molecule and continues to evolve in every species. There is no evidence of intelligent design.
The fact that the universe exists at all is evidence of a Creator. The big bang idea assumes that there is an extremely dense particle that explodes, but where did the particle come from? Where did the concept of time and laws of physics come from? There will always be a lack of sufficient proof one way or the other; I'm not going to convince anyone and no one will convince me, but my rational mind will not accept a universe without a beginning.
@fadedflage yup, the Big Bang is of course evidence for ID- a specific creation event was always predicted by ID and ridiculed by 'scientists' who claimed the Universe was 'static'
until one of those 'crazy theists' discovered the big bang!
Faith in magical self creating universes for no purpose requires a great deal of ideological dislike for ID, nothing to do with evidence whatsoever
@GuyThreepwoody "the Big Bang is of course evidence for ID"
No it isn't. The big bang is a theory that explains the origin and current state of the universe. The theory makes no mention of intelligent design. That's your interpretation.
@GuyThreepwoody "until one of those 'crazy theists' discovered the big bang!"
So a theist, Georges Lemaître, was one of the early developers of the big bang theory. That doesn't prove that theism or ID are correct. Stephen Hawking, an atheist, stated that a god or designer is not necessary to explain the existence and properties of the universe. And he probably knows more about the universe than most other scientists.
@GuyThreepwoody (1 of 2) "Faith in magical self creating universes..."
Trying to use ordinary common sense logic to understand the universe will get you nowhere. The appearance of the universe out of the vacuum is indeed based on evidence. You probably don't know this, but matter particles appear and disappear out of the vacuum all the time. Even within a single atom, short-lived particles...
@GuyThreepwoody (2 of 2) ... appear in the space between the nucleus and the electron shell. This phenomenon is explained by quantum mechanics, a complex physical theory that takes more than simple logic to understand. The claim that a magical being just willed the universe into existence doesn't explain anything and is just a shallow and simplistic way to avoid the complexities of nature. The notion that the universe must have a purpose is a belief based on religious doctrine.
@fadedflage False. That the universe exists is only evidence of a universe existing. Its existence makes no presuppositional theory to an origin. Your attitude towards empiricism is one of apathy, laziness, and ignorance.
@fadedflage I'll take the standpoint of science on this one. I don't know from where the universe came. You see, I have the courage to admit the lack of data concerning this subject. You, however, arbitrarily assign a metaphysical cause, likely based on bronze age texts, with no empiricism behind it to something physical and call it reason. Our ancestors did that too, when they saw lightning for the first time.
@Erestus I applaud that you are intellectually honest enough to admit not having an explanation. We disagree. To me, the only explanation that makes sense is that there is a greater outside force we don't understand.
@fadedflage Ignorance is this matter is the only intellectually honest stance to claim. There are theories, but a negligible amount of data. You have to see the frailty of your stance; what empirical data do you have to back this theory of a greater outside force? This position is the same one the Greeks claimed when they thought Poseidon caused earthquakes. What would they say to tectonic plates? The same thing you're saying to me?
@Erestus Okay. There are structures that exist even on the cellular level that cannot be explained by "natural selection". Some types of bacteria have methods of propulsion very similar to an outboard boat motor with many different parts. Without one of these parts, the "motor" is useless. Natural selection eliminates useless parts and makes changes very very slowly. How can bacteria develop such complex structures through evolution? Intelligent design is the only believable explanation to me.
@fadedflage There is no phenomena in biology unexplained by evolution. Your argument from incredulity is a commonly known logical fallacy. Irreducible complexity has been debunked a hundred times over (reference Hueck, C. J. 1998; Cavalier-Smith, T. 2002; Miller, K. 2003; and Ussery, D. 1999 for a few). Just because you don't understand something doesn't mean it has magical origins. The flagellar motor is a well understood component.

@fadedflage I invite you to study the data I provided to see why creationism is a faulty earth origin view. This isn't a difference of opinion. This is a difference between my view's profusion of facts and your view's lack of facts.
@Erestus What we choose to call facts and evidence are a matter of opinion. You said earlier that you don't know how the universe came into being, and I said evidence one way or the other won't convince anyone either way. I won't convince you, you won't convince me, and nothing I can say will satisfy you. Here is a fact. The universe as we know it, exists. If you understand small parts of operations within the universe, but cannot explain the universe's existence, we are missing the point.
@Erestus In my mind, the concept or fact of evolution, the changing of organisms over spans of time, does not necessitate the absence of a Creator. The existence and processes of the universe were set into motion by Someone, somehow, at some point. I plan to look up this study you suggest I read, because I think the idea is interesting. I read with an open mind and seek to understand. No one knows everything.
@fadedflage And there's your problem. You could absolutely convince me of your premise if you provided me with credible sources of empiricism backing your theory. But you can't run around screaming "The sky is orange!" despite all the FACTS pertaining as to why the sky is blue, and expect me to take it seriously. Because what we call fact is, by definition, NOT a matter of opinion. It is backed by observable, concrete evidence.
evidence? sperm and the egg. learn their designs and how they function the way they do to make reproduction possible. and remember no sperm has ever went to the egg and returned to the male so could not evolve. thats your evidence. not enough? heres one more, the golden ratio 1.618. i think that's not enough, you probably want one more, here, the atmosphere specifically allows the wavelength needed for photosynthesis while filtering others. and you tell creationists to learn, what do YOU know?

@Hematite1000 "If Adam and Eve were white, and evolution doesn't exist, where do black people come fore?" Simple answer. Adam and Eve weren't white. They were most likely of 'middle' tan skin.
@Hematite1000 I don't know that much about genetics of Asians. But, if Adam and Eve were heterogeneous for all traits, then we could get both Asians and non-Asians today.
@HeWillPrevail That would mean that couples would randomly have White, Indian, Black, and Pacific Islander kids. Every human would have to hold every gene for all of humanity. Somewhere along the line, two 100% Irish parents should give birth to a 100% African child. And that doesn't happen.
@Hematite1000 Yes, and that has happened. "It's Not Just Black and White" is an awesome article by Answers in Genesis. I recommend you read it. As for the biracial thing, you can't accurately say it will never happen because it never happenED. The majority of people don't reproduce 'bi-racially', and even if they did the probability of a "100% African child" is still extremely low.
@HeWillPrevail Soory, I misunderstood something. Even with the probability of two 100% parents, that doesn't happen that much (or at all) because of probability. And, as people reproduced within their 'race', genes are expected to be weeded out, since once a "100% African" was born, they would probably reproduce with another African.
@Hematite1000 No. Evolution leads to natural selection. I know you are talking about macro-evolution, but I'm talking about micro. Micro-evolution leads to natural selection. If everybody was the exact same, there would be no natural selection.
@HeWillPrevail Natural Selection over time is what causes Evolution. A mutation causes a beneficial trait to arise, that individual lives longer to reproduce more. Their offspring have the beneficial trait, and outperform all the individuals without the trait until all of the species has that trait. Over time, enough traits change for the new generation to be unable to reproduce with the first generation and a new species is created. THAT is the process of Macro-Evolution.
@Hematite1000 No. Micro-evolution is the change in frequencies of alleles in a population. Macro-evolution is the 'grand evolution', what is normally thought of. Dinosaurs to birds is macro-evolution, a bird population changing from short to long beaks is micro-evolution. There is a gigantic difference.
@HeWillPrevail "Micro-evolution" and "Macro-evolution" are not recognized as sub-groups of evolution by the biological scientific community...there is only "evolution". PubMed(dot)gov reports that there are 179 publications on "Macro-E", 341 publications on "Micro-E" and 247,308 publications on "evolution". Even the "platypus" has 414 publications...so there are more articles about one animal than Micro-E or Macro-E.
@HeWillPrevail We cannot possibly 'prove' what is considered Macro-E because these changes take place over hundreds of thousands or millions of years. Yet, there is no mechanism which limits genetic change over time. What the two categories truly signify is the limits of any particular human's *belief*. This would be considered a non-existent division between 'believable' and 'unbelievable' based on religious 'faith' from a 2,000 year old holy book.
@HeWillPrevail Atomic Theory, Theory of Matter and Energy, Cell Theory, Germ Theory, Theory of Plate Tectonics, Theory of Evolution, Theory of Quantum Mechanics, Theory of Relativity, Theory of Light Energy, Theory of Electromagnetism, Theory of Radioactivity, Theory of Molecular Bonds, Theory of Homeostasis, Theory of Gravity, etc..
These are all theories also...but only evolution and the Big Bang are disputed. The reason is because they conflict with a 2,000 year old holy book.
@CynicalSkeptic Not all theories hold the same grounds, however. The Theory of Evolution is solid fact, but the Theory of Gravity is an approximation and probably false, for instance.
@DemonarDG I would agree that all theories don't have equivalent confirming evidence and gravitational theory may be modified (as many theories are). My point was that the main reason for disputing evolution and the Big Bang is due to religious belief...not because of valid contradictory evidence. While we may modify gravitational theory, evolutional theory most certainly isn't going to be completely overturned to be replaced by a theory of an invisible magic sky zombie saying "Abra-Cadabra".
@HeWillPrevail Groups of a species become isolated based on location. Over time, those groups begin to change slightly (Groups' skin in Africa darkens because of the hot sun, groups' skin in the UK gets lighter because of the lower light and cold). The isloation keeps them from interbreeding so the specific traits become more prevalent over time.
It was just all there. But how the fuck does it exist. Im scared now, there is vacuum there is us there is the solar system, then more vacuum as it seems to stretch out endlessly, floating space rocks, stars where do they come from? How became energy active? How did they get there, it just goes on and on, parrallel to many other universes or is our galaxy being ''moved'' and does it stays still and stretch out infinitly to the home of other species? WHERE DID IT COME FROM? >:(
What do u have to lose by believing in God? Hmmmm. Maybe your sanity? Or your ability to think for yourself. Not make decisions based on an invisible man who you think has your back but in reality has your brain... haha
@thx1138n05 I thought we dropped bb and evolution from this discussion. Stop running in circles. Oh, and if you think you are an animal, I feel very sorry for you.
@Jiggus An animal is a multicellular organism with eukaryotic cells, which has the ability to move independently and must consume other organisms to survive. Humans fit into that scientific definition perfectly. What is it that you find untrue about it?
@thx1138n05 Nothing, it's all true. The problem is that we are capable of reason, abstract thinking etc. How is that this ever happened? Was it crucial to our dominant position on this planet? We are different. We don't belong to the savage animals that are programmed to only care for survival. We can create.
@Jiggus Other species are capable of reason as well. Apes have been shown to use human sign language to form sentences and communicate complex ideas and emotions. Some birds can use causative reasoning. The evolution of human intelligence coincided with the evolution of language, making it possible to think in abstract terms and develop technological societies.
As for savage animals, just look at the violent history of the human race. The bonobos (type of chimpanzee) are much more civilized.
Really? Those arguments work for you?I don't get silence. I get religious arguments about how God is not limited by natural laws or how man's wisdom is God's foolishness. Then it is I who is silenced. How can you rebut when reason and science are removed from the conversation?
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness. Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse".

in Genesis. God separated the waters. he called the water above "sky" and below "sea" now. the first translation of the bible into english was way before science discovered water vapor. even if some random 15th century person made it up.. how would they know that the sky contained water?
@Netwriter Nah!!!!! It didn't rain until after the flood. How could the dinosaurs get sooooo big in this atmosphere? I'll let you answer before I tell you.
@ijustwannabeHISsheep The sky contains water vapor, THEN it rains water. How would they know that the sky contained water? Simple, they looked up and saw it, and they felt it on their bodies.
like netwriter said, 'rain' is a PERFECTLY plausible explenation for this.
we answered you, now you answer me; why did god create all the stars in the universe? there's so many we can't see, so many that we can see but already faded (which kinda proves earth>6000 years old)? could you please explain how kain murdered able (the first 2 earthborn men) and then moved into A CITY? could you explain the lack of any nuclear science, elektricity, biology, astrology and wildlife?
@homerfromhelI God created all the stars in the world to bless us. when he created them, he could have just stopped at where the naked eye could no longer see.. but he made more.. so that when the telescope was invented, we would have something to see that would amaze us and continue to amaze us.
it says he moved to Nod. and since moses wrote it, Nod would have existed and moses would have known about it.
isn't it in the bible that the sun revolves around the earth?
and you didn't answer my kain-city-question, how did the city get there? did god make more humans?
also, the starlight we see from stars over 6000 lightyears away proves the universe is older than 6000 years, doesn't it?
one more question, do people who've never learnt anythig about god from their parents or their environment have a chance to go to heaven? if they never get a chance to pray or repent.
@MonstermashCullen Space (and Time) aren't exactly linear, as I understand it. Granted, most of what I've learned has been from reading articles, but I think that the estimated size of the (observable) universe is around 93 billion years.
@MonstermashCullen Hold on, have to find old comment... *rummage* Damn new layout... I believe I said *detect* in the comment you are referring to, but can't quite tell. But we can *see* out only so far, but *detect* farther than that.
@SnoweyMan111 i wasnt talking about hell. i stated that God called the water above sky.. and below sea.. by below i didnt mean hell. i meant on the ground
@ijustwannabeHISsheep No, I wasn't refering to that. Just saying, that with my viewpoint. Which is that the bible is bogus made by man (you may believe whatever, I simply explained how I think it was made up).
As this one guy replied. I offerd an explanation to another made up phenomoena (which clearly isn't true, Hell isn't inside earth) and how it may have been thought up. I think you find this with most things that have some kind of reference to the world around us.
@SnoweyMan111 who said hell was a volcano? the bible was written by man yes.. but they were inspired by God and there was a show on the science channel, on dish 193 i think.. and it proved that a lot of the things in the bible (parting of the red sea, the 10 plagues, sodom and gamora...) had a very high possibility of happening i dont know much about hell xept its total separation from God, and fire.. and weeping so what do you have to lose by believing in God?
@SnoweyMan111 and theres ideas like that out there cause people use their reason to interpret the bible.. and i love the way my teacher put this.. "let scripture interpret scripture" if i dont understand something.. i wont try to use logic to figure it out.. what the bible says goes for me pretty much haha
@gregrutz all but two of those were old testament laws. when Christ came he made a new covenant, so that all we have to do is believe. and youre taking pauls words and using them how you want them. its saying women shouldnt be pastors cause men have the authority and in titus paul tells him to tell slaves to be obedient to their masters "so that in every way they will make the teaching about God our Savior attractive."
@ijustwannabeHISsheep All translations lose the meaning. You broke away from the Catholics because they don't follow the bible but why don't you use their bible?
@gregrutz didnt..we broke away cause the entire christian church was corrupt... we all use the same bible.. people interpret it differently.. one religion may interpret something one was.. another religion may interpret it another
@ijustwannabeHISsheep No wonder you people are lost sheep. You think the whole world is this or that 'interpretation. You are so confused you don't know what is fact and what is assumptions. Or what is natural and what is religion.
@gregrutz because it didnt follow the rules of the canon.. and so what if im a lost sheep? He comes and finds me. i cant look for him because im terrible. im a sinner. i know im a sinner. it dont matter now cause because He died for everyone, our sins are forgiven just for believing. he forgives the stuff i dont even know i did, and he forgave the stuff i will do. im a sheep. so go ahead, tell me how im lost and how im confused. id sure love to hear things about me that i dont already know
@ijustwannabeHISsheep Anyone who wants to be a sheep has absolutely no credibility & others should always wonder about their motives for anything they say or do.. There is no purpose for you to try to discuss anything with anyone other than your fellow sheep. Nobody died for me. Get over it.
@Strangerinasland my purpose is to save others.. honestly.. theres no real purpose to discus a lot of things with my fellow christians.. our purpose is to tell others. and so youre saying that christians, who are indeed christs "sheep" have no credibility. if i say the sun rises in the east.. will you stick to your claim and disagree.. or will you make an exception for my claim and agree that im right with my statement?
@ijustwannabeHISsheep You are not saving anyone. You are spreading deception & delusion. Having no credibility does not mean 1 is never correct. It means everyone should be very suspicious of them. The sun does not rise in the east.
@Strangerinasland we use the directions north south east and west. it has been something that was created using the stars. and ever since we knew direction, we knew that the sun rose in the east and sets in the west. and you never answered my last question.. i honestly want to know where people stand on believing he even existed

@Strangerinasland who the heck are odin and thor? i can honestly say that ive never heard of them
and we do know that the sun is stationary and the earth moves. but we do still say that the sun rises and sets. and if you ask anyone where the sun rises, they will most likely answer, "in the east"
You said " if i say the sun rises in the east.. will you stick to your claim and disagree.. or will you make an exception for my claim and agree that im right with my statement?" & I answered you with fact. WHY do you say the sun rises if you know it doesn't???
@ijustwannabeHISsheep Anyone who wants to be a sheep has absolutely no credibility & others should always wonder about their motives for anything they say or do.. There is no purpose for you to try to discuss anything with anyone other than your fellow sheep. You are not saving anyone. You are spreading deception & delusion, fool. Nobody died for me. Get over it.

@MrKillianmcelroy because He was the Messiah promised by God to save us. not by a god.. but by God, the creator of the universe. Christ taught us all we needed to know to be saved.. which was that we need to believe that He was the Messiah and that God was the one and only God
@ijustwannabeHISsheep I do say I respect what you believe to be the truth. But you wouldn't mind if we discussed it a bit further would you? If so, I apologize and will cease contact.
I am interested in the way you seem so fervent in the idea that your folktale - or religion, if you prefer that terminology - has more truth to it than other cultures folktales (or "religions." Whichever.) I'm curious to know why it is you feel when the bible claims the supernatural, or divine (cont....)
(cont...) ...or divine, it carries with it truth, while when other cultures make the same claims, they are mistaken? Like I said, I'm curious why this is. Would you mind explaining this to me?
Why is it (going back to the Norse folktale) you think less people believe Odin and Thor to be divine, than say, Jesus and Yahweh. [The characters from a folktale more widely accepted in modern times (in Western cultures, anyways.)]
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
@MrKillianmcelroy i dont think that people believe in folktales more than christianity. Jesus was no folktale though. he was the one promised in the old testament. and since God himself wrote the Bible through moses and david and solomon.. and so on.. the words of the Bible are truth. Jesus fulfilled all of what was said of him in the old testament. and was the one God said himself was His son. he came to a sinful world to sacrifice himself for us. and he accomplished it.
@ijustwannabeHISsheep I have news for you. The messiah prophesied in the Hebrew Bible was not to be God itself. Or a son of God any more than other prophets & leaders. The messiah was to be a MAN sent by God to lead Jewish people & help enable them to overcome their oppressors. Which Jesus did not do. Jewish prophets did not say he would save anyone from eternal torture or that he would do any thing for nonJews.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
@Strangerinasland Jesus was true MAN.. sent by God. he lead the jews and whoever believed in Him overcame the worlds biggest oppressor.. the devil.
God Himself said in the NT "this is my son whom i love, with him i am well pleased" God sent him to be born of a virgin so that he would have no original sin, he didnt sin his entire life. he died, descended to hell to proclaim his victory over the devil, then rose again. which saved us.
@ijustwannabeHISsheep According to the Holy Babble (the only source we have for Jesus), the vast majority of Jews did not consider him their leader. He certainly did not overcome the oppressors of the Jews before his death. He was not the messiah predicted by & hoped for by Jews. Whether Jesus sinned & whether God had sex with a 12 to 14 year old unmarried virgin are unrelated to my point. Who do you mean by us, you have a mouse in your pants?
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
@Strangerinasland God did not have sex with a 12-14 year old. and Jesus didnt sin. and yes it does go with your point. because if he had been made by man he wouldnt have been able to be the savior.
Jesus was the one predicted, just not the one that they had hoped for. they ASSUMED that he would be from an earthly king because he was from the line of David. and that he would save them from rome. Jesus was a heavenly king sent to save mankind from the devil.
@ijustwannabeHISsheep Jesus was not the Messiah predicted by Jews for Jews, no matter how much you want it to be otherwise or how many times you say it or how many times con artists drilled it into your head. Very odd how the Old Testament does not speak of mankind needing to be saved from a devil. Neither does Jewish scripture.

@Strangerinasland genesis.. satan was in the form of a serpent. "the serpent deceived me, and i ate" "i will put emnity between you and the woman, between your offspring and hers, he will crush your head and you will strike his heel" just because Jesus didnt fulfill every single prophecy doesnt mean he's not the savior. they expected everything from him. to be an earthly savior. instead he was humble from birth. just because a person is disappointed doesnt mean that Jesus wasnt the messiah
@ijustwannabeHISsheep "we broke away cause the entire christian church was corrupt... we all use the same bible.. people interpret it differently.. one religion may interpret something one was.. another religion may interpret it another"
@ruzzdugg Oh yeah, and the guy who made this well put together video is a christian himself with a doctorate in theology. An intelligent christian, discrediting the bible. Enjoy!
@urmomwent2college If by "the guy who made this well put together video" you refer to that guy Netwriter, I must decline the doctorate in theology credited to me.
@Netwriter Lol I knew that would be misleading. I was referring to the video I mentioned in my previous post called Who Wrote The Bible by Robert Beckford
@urmomwent2college well then he's an intelligent christian that don't know the Bible then if he's discrediting it. Oh, and other thing. The thing that you mentioned intelligence states that you believe that it exists. Now if intelligence does exist and if we made in God's image then we must be intelligent if He is. Well guess what, to an extent we are.
@ruzzdugg what the fuck did you just say? something about intelligence only being able to exist if God does? I DON'T BELIEVE IN YAHWEH, the god of the bible. He was a man made narcissist that was created out of a need for control. It was all about casting fear in the people to fit their political agenda and gain money and power. If you'd watch the video you can hear that and much more from a guy who is light years ahead of you and I in the field. Try educating yourself a little before attempting
@urmomwent2college Well then don't believe in Yahweh, just because you don't believe in Him, that don't make Him not real. If you don't believe in gravity, it still will exist. As for the Bible for political agenda, money, power, or control. Well you then know nothing. YES, it HAS been abused, good things do get abused to control ppl. But even my family, have left to the US because of persecution for believing the Bible. Where i came from, many ppl died for their faith. Mistreated and abused
@ruzzdugg I didn't see your first comment until now. Don't give me that gravity shit. I can feel gravity. It keeps me and every other thing stuck to this planet unless we can move fast enough to escape its grasp. God? Nope. Can't feel him, see him, and most importantly, not a shred of actual evidence for him. I would like to know what country you moved here from. I feel like I can safely assume it shuns christianity because only one religion is accepted there. One that fits their way of ruling
@urmomwent2college First of all the gravity examples is only saying that if you believe in something or not it don't change a thing. As for the country, that i came from, only evolution and communism (which is party originated from evolution religion YES its is a religion). It shunned Christians because they didn't believe in evolution and killing ppl. Also because the government made false accusation like christian sacrifice kids and are really dumb. When the reality isn't true.
@urmomwent2college You weren't allowed to go to college if you were a christian, if you had prefect grades and they found out you were a christian then they'd slowly lower your grades. If you gather together peacefully to praise God, you could not wake up the next day. No the government nor anyone gained money or power over it, they lived a life suppressed by the government. Millions of ppl died just for believing, many more suffered. Yet they'd not give up their faith. You know nothing there.
You have it all wrong. Clearly you're following the wrong deity as the one and true living god is the flying the spaghetti monster. Pastafarianism is the way, the truth, and the light!
You may not believe in the almighty flying spaghetti monster, but that doesn't make him not real. If you didn't believe in gravity, it would still be real, and such is it with his almighty pastaness.
Many, all over the world, have experienced HIS greatness, including me! That's totally proof!
@ruzzdugg And yet somehow the vatican has all this endless money and the pope is treated as a deity. In certain areas of the world I know that they were persecuted for even owning a bible, but once everyone caught on to what was to be gained by allowing it, they hopped on board as soon as they could
@urmomwent2college Actually there are still many places that ppl are killed just for owning a Bible. But like i said before, the Bible, like many good things have been abused by many as well. Why has the Bible been accepted in many countries over time? Because it saw the good it brought out of ppl and that it really did change lives. But then many saw it's power and decided to use it for their own gain by twisting the Bible. As for the pope treated like a deity, i don't agree that he should be.
@ruzzdugg LMFAO! I don't even know where to start with you, or if I should even bother! You make the biggest fool of yourself here! And your profile says you are 28?! Please tell me that isn't true. "One of the biggest gaps of evolution is that it's self contradicting. The bible isn't" ...what bible are you reading? I can discredit nearly the entire bible for you with just one video - Who Wrote The Bible by Robert Beckford. Watch it here on YouTube, it will give you much needed info
This is completely untrue. Creationists never shut the hell up, no matter what you tell them. They'll continue to dismiss evidence for no reason, make up definitions, and rely on unimportant, outdated arguments from authority, long after you've refuted them.
@killthemwithfirelol I believe you missed the message of the video. Don't argue with them, ask them for evidence for what they believe. Attacking evolution is not evidence for creation. Just read thru the comments and you will see time after time, that when asked for evidence for creation they don't have anything to talk about.
@Netwriter I didn't miss the message, the fact is that even when this method is followed, I find the usual outcome is the creationist resorting to a straw-man or simply taking quotes out of context, and the occasional blatant lie involving a statistic or geological find, etc etc.
@Netwriter Evidence, here we go AGAIN: the fact that things like the chariots found in the red sea matches the story of moses, the complexity of even a feather or an eye. Similarities in DNA, so a similar structure points to same Creator, 1,000's+ of testimonies of ppl (including me) who have experienced God and His miracles, things that the Bible mentioned 1,000's of yrs before scientists found out were actually true, the exactness needed just for life to exist, historians agree Jesus existed
@ruzzdugg No, the red sea evidence is not the wheel of an egyption chariote of the time. Also watch my video "Exodence" regarding the reality of your moses character. Your complexity argument has been refuted to adnausium. Feeling all warm and fuzzy about your god is the same evidence claimed by people who believe in other gods. It is not evidence of anything but human nature. Not all historians agree that Jesus existed. Like Moses, he is fictional, mythology.
@Netwriter Well, well, finally you respond to some of my many pieces of evidence that i have post. Now let me make one thing clear, first of all it's not warm fuzzy feeling when you feel God's presence. It gives you the chills, you'll have goose bumps, your body fill weak (and if His presence is really strong, you can't even get up), this world becomes and time stands still, yet you feel peace and really free. Yet that is not the evidence i was referring to, when i said experiences with God.
@Netwriter Now as for evidence of testimonies, well here's one. I might butcher the exact facts, a little bit since it been awhile since i heard it but I know this family while they were escaping from their country to the US, they had to cross a desert ( i think) to get to a train that could take them to either a ship or plane. On the way there the ran out of food. They prayed to God and a man appeared with baby food for the kid and other food. They turned around to thank him and he disappeared.
@Netwriter As for the red sea, i didn't get the evidence first form a creation site, i found it yrs ago in a magazine or newspaper that actually supported evolution. According to the article, there was a number of wheels found that would all exist only during the same time frame as moses. And even if they didn't, historians could have also gotten the time frame wrong of the wheels. Either way, it matches the Bible story, and that is 1,000's of yrs before they were found
Religion= modern society not taking responsibility for anything what so ever, confess and anything you do or will do,you didn't do after you confess it.

Try information Theory and DNA. Pretty much proves Intelligent Design. There's more proof just in that than all the "interpreted" evidence provided by evolution. Including the millions of years attributed to dinosaurs.
webhutspain 1 month ago
@webhutspain (1 of 2) "Try information Theory and DNA. Pretty much proves Intelligent Design."
By "information theory" you are presumably referring to the feeble attempts by some creationists to show numerically that evolution is improbable. Those calculations have been proven wrong, as they are based on faulty premises and methods.
thx1138n05 3 weeks ago
@webhutspain (2 of 2) By examining DNA molecules in detail, we find clear and conclusive evidence of evolution. For example, we find DNA segments from other species, nonfunctional segments, coding errors, redundant genes, and remnants of viral infections. DNA is obviously an evolved molecule and continues to evolve in every species. There is no evidence of intelligent design.
thx1138n05 3 weeks ago
The fact that the universe exists at all is evidence of a Creator. The big bang idea assumes that there is an extremely dense particle that explodes, but where did the particle come from? Where did the concept of time and laws of physics come from? There will always be a lack of sufficient proof one way or the other; I'm not going to convince anyone and no one will convince me, but my rational mind will not accept a universe without a beginning.
fadedflage 1 month ago

That's your interpretation.
thx1138n05 3 weeks ago
@GuyThreepwoody "until one of those 'crazy theists' discovered the big bang!"
So a theist, Georges Lemaître, was one of the early developers of the big bang theory. That doesn't prove that theism or ID are correct. Stephen Hawking, an atheist, stated that a god or designer is not necessary to explain the existence and properties of the universe. And he probably knows more about the universe than most other scientists.
thx1138n05 3 weeks ago
@GuyThreepwoody (1 of 2) "Faith in magical self creating universes..."
Trying to use ordinary common sense logic to understand the universe will get you nowhere. The appearance of the universe out of the vacuum is indeed based on evidence. You probably don't know this, but matter particles appear and disappear out of the vacuum all the time. Even within a single atom, short-lived particles...
thx1138n05 3 weeks ago
@GuyThreepwoody (2 of 2) ... appear in the space between the nucleus and the electron shell. This phenomenon is explained by quantum mechanics, a complex physical theory that takes more than simple logic to understand. The claim that a magical being just willed the universe into existence doesn't explain anything and is just a shallow and simplistic way to avoid the complexities of nature. The notion that the universe must have a purpose is a belief based on religious doctrine.
thx1138n05 3 weeks ago
@fadedflage False. That the universe exists is only evidence of a universe existing. Its existence makes no presuppositional theory to an origin. Your attitude towards empiricism is one of apathy, laziness, and ignorance.
Erestus 3 weeks ago
@Erestus Your turn. Where did the universe come from?
fadedflage 3 weeks ago
@fadedflage I'll take the standpoint of science on this one. I don't know from where the universe came. You see, I have the courage to admit the lack of data concerning this subject. You, however, arbitrarily assign a metaphysical cause, likely based on bronze age texts, with no empiricism behind it to something physical and call it reason. Our ancestors did that too, when they saw lightning for the first time.
Erestus 3 weeks ago
@Erestus I applaud that you are intellectually honest enough to admit not having an explanation. We disagree. To me, the only explanation that makes sense is that there is a greater outside force we don't understand.
fadedflage 3 weeks ago
@fadedflage Ignorance is this matter is the only intellectually honest stance to claim. There are theories, but a negligible amount of data. You have to see the frailty of your stance; what empirical data do you have to back this theory of a greater outside force? This position is the same one the Greeks claimed when they thought Poseidon caused earthquakes. What would they say to tectonic plates? The same thing you're saying to me?
Erestus 3 weeks ago
@Erestus Nothing I can say will satisfy you.
fadedflage 3 weeks ago
@fadedflage You could at least lay claim to the courage of your convictions and try.
Erestus 3 weeks ago
@Erestus Okay. There are structures that exist even on the cellular level that cannot be explained by "natural selection". Some types of bacteria have methods of propulsion very similar to an outboard boat motor with many different parts. Without one of these parts, the "motor" is useless. Natural selection eliminates useless parts and makes changes very very slowly. How can bacteria develop such complex structures through evolution? Intelligent design is the only believable explanation to me.
fadedflage 3 weeks ago

Erestus 3 weeks ago
@Erestus What we choose to call facts and evidence are a matter of opinion. You said earlier that you don't know how the universe came into being, and I said evidence one way or the other won't convince anyone either way. I won't convince you, you won't convince me, and nothing I can say will satisfy you. Here is a fact. The universe as we know it, exists. If you understand small parts of operations within the universe, but cannot explain the universe's existence, we are missing the point.
fadedflage 3 weeks ago
@Erestus In my mind, the concept or fact of evolution, the changing of organisms over spans of time, does not necessitate the absence of a Creator. The existence and processes of the universe were set into motion by Someone, somehow, at some point. I plan to look up this study you suggest I read, because I think the idea is interesting. I read with an open mind and seek to understand. No one knows everything.
fadedflage 3 weeks ago
@fadedflage And there's your problem. You could absolutely convince me of your premise if you provided me with credible sources of empiricism backing your theory. But you can't run around screaming "The sky is orange!" despite all the FACTS pertaining as to why the sky is blue, and expect me to take it seriously. Because what we call fact is, by definition, NOT a matter of opinion. It is backed by observable, concrete evidence.

Where do Black people come from?
Hematite1000 2 months ago 16
@Hematite1000 "If Adam and Eve were white, and evolution doesn't exist, where do black people come fore?" Simple answer. Adam and Eve weren't white. They were most likely of 'middle' tan skin.
HeWillPrevail 2 months ago
@HeWillPrevail Okay then where did Asians come from?
Hematite1000 2 months ago 4
@Hematite1000 I don't know that much about genetics of Asians. But, if Adam and Eve were heterogeneous for all traits, then we could get both Asians and non-Asians today.
HeWillPrevail 2 months ago
@HeWillPrevail That would mean that couples would randomly have White, Indian, Black, and Pacific Islander kids. Every human would have to hold every gene for all of humanity. Somewhere along the line, two 100% Irish parents should give birth to a 100% African child. And that doesn't happen.
Hematite1000 2 months ago
@Hematite1000 Yes, and that has happened. "It's Not Just Black and White" is an awesome article by Answers in Genesis. I recommend you read it. As for the biracial thing, you can't accurately say it will never happen because it never happenED. The majority of people don't reproduce 'bi-racially', and even if they did the probability of a "100% African child" is still extremely low.
HeWillPrevail 2 months ago
@HeWillPrevail Soory, I misunderstood something. Even with the probability of two 100% parents, that doesn't happen that much (or at all) because of probability. And, as people reproduced within their 'race', genes are expected to be weeded out, since once a "100% African" was born, they would probably reproduce with another African.
HeWillPrevail 2 months ago
@HeWillPrevail And what you just said, right there, is the basis for Natural Selection, which leads to Biodiversity, which leads to Evolution.
Hematite1000 2 months ago
@Hematite1000 No. Evolution leads to natural selection. I know you are talking about macro-evolution, but I'm talking about micro. Micro-evolution leads to natural selection. If everybody was the exact same, there would be no natural selection.
HeWillPrevail 2 months ago
@HeWillPrevail Natural Selection over time is what causes Evolution. A mutation causes a beneficial trait to arise, that individual lives longer to reproduce more. Their offspring have the beneficial trait, and outperform all the individuals without the trait until all of the species has that trait. Over time, enough traits change for the new generation to be unable to reproduce with the first generation and a new species is created. THAT is the process of Macro-Evolution.
Hematite1000 2 months ago
@HeWillPrevail Micro-evolution is the EXACT SAME PROCESS, simply applied to microorganisms such as viruses and bacteria.
Hematite1000 2 months ago
@Hematite1000 No. Micro-evolution is the change in frequencies of alleles in a population. Macro-evolution is the 'grand evolution', what is normally thought of. Dinosaurs to birds is macro-evolution, a bird population changing from short to long beaks is micro-evolution. There is a gigantic difference.
HeWillPrevail 2 months ago
@HeWillPrevail "Micro-evolution" and "Macro-evolution" are not recognized as sub-groups of evolution by the biological scientific community...there is only "evolution". PubMed(dot)gov reports that there are 179 publications on "Macro-E", 341 publications on "Micro-E" and 247,308 publications on "evolution". Even the "platypus" has 414 publications...so there are more articles about one animal than Micro-E or Macro-E.
CynicalSkeptic1 2 months ago
@HeWillPrevail We cannot possibly 'prove' what is considered Macro-E because these changes take place over hundreds of thousands or millions of years. Yet, there is no mechanism which limits genetic change over time. What the two categories truly signify is the limits of any particular human's *belief*. This would be considered a non-existent division between 'believable' and 'unbelievable' based on religious 'faith' from a 2,000 year old holy book.
CynicalSkeptic1 2 months ago
CynicalSkeptic1 2 months ago 2
@CynicalSkeptic Not all theories hold the same grounds, however. The Theory of Evolution is solid fact, but the Theory of Gravity is an approximation and probably false, for instance.
DemonarDG 1 month ago
@DemonarDG I would agree that all theories don't have equivalent confirming evidence and gravitational theory may be modified (as many theories are). My point was that the main reason for disputing evolution and the Big Bang is due to religious belief...not because of valid contradictory evidence. While we may modify gravitational theory, evolutional theory most certainly isn't going to be completely overturned to be replaced by a theory of an invisible magic sky zombie saying "Abra-Cadabra".
CynicalSkeptic1 1 month ago
@HeWillPrevail Groups of a species become isolated based on location. Over time, those groups begin to change slightly (Groups' skin in Africa darkens because of the hot sun, groups' skin in the UK gets lighter because of the lower light and cold). The isloation keeps them from interbreeding so the specific traits become more prevalent over time.

@Jiggus An animal is a multicellular organism with eukaryotic cells, which has the ability to move independently and must consume other organisms to survive. Humans fit into that scientific definition perfectly. What is it that you find untrue about it?
thx1138n05 4 months ago
@thx1138n05 Nothing, it's all true. The problem is that we are capable of reason, abstract thinking etc. How is that this ever happened? Was it crucial to our dominant position on this planet? We are different. We don't belong to the savage animals that are programmed to only care for survival. We can create.
Jiggus 4 months ago
@Jiggus Other species are capable of reason as well. Apes have been shown to use human sign language to form sentences and communicate complex ideas and emotions. Some birds can use causative reasoning. The evolution of human intelligence coincided with the evolution of language, making it possible to think in abstract terms and develop technological societies.
As for savage animals, just look at the violent history of the human race. The bonobos (type of chimpanzee) are much more civilized.

@gregrutz all but two of those were old testament laws. when Christ came he made a new covenant, so that all we have to do is believe. and youre taking pauls words and using them how you want them. its saying women shouldnt be pastors cause men have the authority and in titus paul tells him to tell slaves to be obedient to their masters "so that in every way they will make the teaching about God our Savior attractive."
btw.. what translation are you using?
ijustwannabeHISsheep 3 months ago
@ijustwannabeHISsheep All translations lose the meaning. You broke away from the Catholics because they don't follow the bible but why don't you use their bible?
gregrutz 3 months ago
@gregrutz didnt..we broke away cause the entire christian church was corrupt... we all use the same bible.. people interpret it differently.. one religion may interpret something one was.. another religion may interpret it another
ijustwannabeHISsheep 3 months ago
@ijustwannabeHISsheep No wonder you people are lost sheep. You think the whole world is this or that 'interpretation. You are so confused you don't know what is fact and what is assumptions. Or what is natural and what is religion.
Why didn't the book of Mary make the Bible?
gregrutz 3 months ago
@gregrutz because it didnt follow the rules of the canon.. and so what if im a lost sheep? He comes and finds me. i cant look for him because im terrible. im a sinner. i know im a sinner. it dont matter now cause because He died for everyone, our sins are forgiven just for believing. he forgives the stuff i dont even know i did, and he forgave the stuff i will do. im a sheep. so go ahead, tell me how im lost and how im confused. id sure love to hear things about me that i dont already know
ijustwannabeHISsheep 3 months ago
@ijustwannabeHISsheep People tend sheep because they eat them.
gregrutz 3 months ago 2
@gregrutz yeah so? i dont see how this relates to religion.. but okay
ijustwannabeHISsheep 3 months ago
@ijustwannabeHISsheep Anyone who wants to be a sheep has absolutely no credibility & others should always wonder about their motives for anything they say or do.. There is no purpose for you to try to discuss anything with anyone other than your fellow sheep. Nobody died for me. Get over it.
Strangerinasland 3 months ago 5
@Strangerinasland my purpose is to save others.. honestly.. theres no real purpose to discus a lot of things with my fellow christians.. our purpose is to tell others. and so youre saying that christians, who are indeed christs "sheep" have no credibility. if i say the sun rises in the east.. will you stick to your claim and disagree.. or will you make an exception for my claim and agree that im right with my statement?
ijustwannabeHISsheep 3 months ago
@ijustwannabeHISsheep You are not saving anyone. You are spreading deception & delusion. Having no credibility does not mean 1 is never correct. It means everyone should be very suspicious of them. The sun does not rise in the east.
Strangerinasland 3 months ago 4
@Strangerinasland yes the sun does rise in the east. and do you believe that christ even existed?
ijustwannabeHISsheep 3 months ago
@ijustwannabeHISsheep The sun certainly does not rise in the east.
Strangerinasland 3 months ago 3
@Strangerinasland are you just arguing with me because im a christian? honestly if youre going to argue at least give me your reason of thinking.
ijustwannabeHISsheep 3 months ago
@ijustwannabeHISsheep I am not arguing, only stating a fact.. What is "reasoning" for claiming the sun rises in the east?
Strangerinasland 3 months ago 3
@Strangerinasland we use the directions north south east and west. it has been something that was created using the stars. and ever since we knew direction, we knew that the sun rose in the east and sets in the west. and you never answered my last question.. i honestly want to know where people stand on believing he even existed
ijustwannabeHISsheep 3 months ago
@ijustwannabeHISsheep People believed that for a long time. Today, many people know the sun does not rise.
Do you believe Odin & Thor existed?

@Strangerinasland who the heck are odin and thor? i can honestly say that ive never heard of them
and we do know that the sun is stationary and the earth moves. but we do still say that the sun rises and sets. and if you ask anyone where the sun rises, they will most likely answer, "in the east"
ijustwannabeHISsheep 3 months ago
@ijustwannabeHISsheep If I tell you about Odin & Thor, will you believe in them?
You said " if i say the sun rises in the east.. will you stick to your claim and disagree.. or will you make an exception for my claim and agree that im right with my statement?" & I answered you with fact. WHY do you say the sun rises if you know it doesn't???

@ijustwannabeHISsheep BTW, the sun is not stationary.

Why?

This comment has received too many negative votes show
@MrKillianmcelroy because He was the Messiah promised by God to save us. not by a god.. but by God, the creator of the universe. Christ taught us all we needed to know to be saved.. which was that we need to believe that He was the Messiah and that God was the one and only God
ijustwannabeHISsheep 2 months ago
@ijustwannabeHISsheep I do say I respect what you believe to be the truth. But you wouldn't mind if we discussed it a bit further would you? If so, I apologize and will cease contact.
I am interested in the way you seem so fervent in the idea that your folktale - or religion, if you prefer that terminology - has more truth to it than other cultures folktales (or "religions." Whichever.) I'm curious to know why it is you feel when the bible claims the supernatural, or divine (cont....)
MrKillianmcelroy 2 months ago
(cont...) ...or divine, it carries with it truth, while when other cultures make the same claims, they are mistaken? Like I said, I'm curious why this is. Would you mind explaining this to me?
Why is it (going back to the Norse folktale) you think less people believe Odin and Thor to be divine, than say, Jesus and Yahweh. [The characters from a folktale more widely accepted in modern times (in Western cultures, anyways.)]
MrKillianmcelroy 2 months ago
This comment has received too many negative votes show
@MrKillianmcelroy i dont think that people believe in folktales more than christianity. Jesus was no folktale though. he was the one promised in the old testament. and since God himself wrote the Bible through moses and david and solomon.. and so on.. the words of the Bible are truth. Jesus fulfilled all of what was said of him in the old testament. and was the one God said himself was His son. he came to a sinful world to sacrifice himself for us. and he accomplished it.
ijustwannabeHISsheep 2 months ago
@ijustwannabeHISsheep I have news for you. The messiah prophesied in the Hebrew Bible was not to be God itself. Or a son of God any more than other prophets & leaders. The messiah was to be a MAN sent by God to lead Jewish people & help enable them to overcome their oppressors. Which Jesus did not do. Jewish prophets did not say he would save anyone from eternal torture or that he would do any thing for nonJews.

@Strangerinasland Jesus was true MAN.. sent by God. he lead the jews and whoever believed in Him overcame the worlds biggest oppressor.. the devil.
God Himself said in the NT "this is my son whom i love, with him i am well pleased" God sent him to be born of a virgin so that he would have no original sin, he didnt sin his entire life. he died, descended to hell to proclaim his victory over the devil, then rose again. which saved us.
ijustwannabeHISsheep 2 months ago
@ijustwannabeHISsheep According to the Holy Babble (the only source we have for Jesus), the vast majority of Jews did not consider him their leader. He certainly did not overcome the oppressors of the Jews before his death. He was not the messiah predicted by & hoped for by Jews. Whether Jesus sinned & whether God had sex with a 12 to 14 year old unmarried virgin are unrelated to my point. Who do you mean by us, you have a mouse in your pants?
Strangerinasland 2 months ago 28

@Strangerinasland God did not have sex with a 12-14 year old. and Jesus didnt sin. and yes it does go with your point. because if he had been made by man he wouldnt have been able to be the savior.
Jesus was the one predicted, just not the one that they had hoped for. they ASSUMED that he would be from an earthly king because he was from the line of David. and that he would save them from rome. Jesus was a heavenly king sent to save mankind from the devil.
ijustwannabeHISsheep 2 months ago

Netwriter 5 months ago 9
@Netwriter Lol I knew that would be misleading. I was referring to the video I mentioned in my previous post called Who Wrote The Bible by Robert Beckford
urmomwent2college 5 months ago
@Netwriter even if you had one, how does studying faith make you religious?
its a bit of a silly leap to make, not that creationists arent used to that kind of thing
"the universe didnt always exist therefore god done it" being the most common ive ever seen.
deathman1021 4 months ago
@urmomwent2college well then he's an intelligent christian that don't know the Bible then if he's discrediting it. Oh, and other thing. The thing that you mentioned intelligence states that you believe that it exists. Now if intelligence does exist and if we made in God's image then we must be intelligent if He is. Well guess what, to an extent we are.
ruzzdugg 5 months ago
@ruzzdugg what the fuck did you just say? something about intelligence only being able to exist if God does? I DON'T BELIEVE IN YAHWEH, the god of the bible. He was a man made narcissist that was created out of a need for control. It was all about casting fear in the people to fit their political agenda and gain money and power. If you'd watch the video you can hear that and much more from a guy who is light years ahead of you and I in the field. Try educating yourself a little before attempting
urmomwent2college 5 months ago

One that fits their way of ruling
urmomwent2college 5 months ago
@urmomwent2college First of all the gravity examples is only saying that if you believe in something or not it don't change a thing. As for the country, that i came from, only evolution and communism (which is party originated from evolution religion YES its is a religion). It shunned Christians because they didn't believe in evolution and killing ppl. Also because the government made false accusation like christian sacrifice kids and are really dumb. When the reality isn't true.
ruzzdugg 5 months ago
@urmomwent2college You weren't allowed to go to college if you were a christian, if you had prefect grades and they found out you were a christian then they'd slowly lower your grades. If you gather together peacefully to praise God, you could not wake up the next day. No the government nor anyone gained money or power over it, they lived a life suppressed by the government. Millions of ppl died just for believing, many more suffered. Yet they'd not give up their faith. You know nothing there.
ruzzdugg 5 months ago
@ruzzdugg
Catamount1412 5 months ago 2
@ruzzdugg And yet somehow the vatican has all this endless money and the pope is treated as a deity. In certain areas of the world I know that they were persecuted for even owning a bible, but once everyone caught on to what was to be gained by allowing it, they hopped on board as soon as they could
urmomwent2college 5 months ago

Watch it here on YouTube, it will give you much needed info
urmomwent2college 5 months ago
This is completely untrue. Creationists never shut the hell up, no matter what you tell them. They'll continue to dismiss evidence for no reason, make up definitions, and rely on unimportant, outdated arguments from authority, long after you've refuted them.
killthemwithfirelol 5 months ago 38
@killthemwithfirelol I believe you missed the message of the video. Don't argue with them, ask them for evidence for what they believe. Attacking evolution is not evidence for creation. Just read thru the comments and you will see time after time, that when asked for evidence for creation they don't have anything to talk about.
Netwriter 5 months ago
@Netwriter I didn't miss the message, the fact is that even when this method is followed, I find the usual outcome is the creationist resorting to a straw-man or simply taking quotes out of context, and the occasional blatant lie involving a statistic or geological find, etc etc.
killthemwithfirelol 5 months ago
@Netwriter Evidence, here we go AGAIN: the fact that things like the chariots found in the red sea matches the story of moses, the complexity of even a feather or an eye. Similarities in DNA, so a similar structure points to same Creator, 1,000's+ of testimonies of ppl (including me) who have experienced God and His miracles, things that the Bible mentioned 1,000's of yrs before scientists found out were actually true, the exactness needed just for life to exist, historians agree Jesus existed
ruzzdugg 5 months ago
@ruzzdugg No, the red sea evidence is not the wheel of an egyption chariote of the time. Also watch my video "Exodence" regarding the reality of your moses character. Your complexity argument has been refuted to adnausium. Feeling all warm and fuzzy about your god is the same evidence claimed by people who believe in other gods. It is not evidence of anything but human nature. Not all historians agree that Jesus existed. Like Moses, he is fictional, mythology.
Netwriter 5 months ago
@Netwriter Well, well, finally you respond to some of my many pieces of evidence that i have post. Now let me make one thing clear, first of all it's not warm fuzzy feeling when you feel God's presence. It gives you the chills, you'll have goose bumps, your body fill weak (and if His presence is really strong, you can't even get up), this world becomes and time stands still, yet you feel peace and really free. Yet that is not the evidence i was referring to, when i said experiences with God.
ruzzdugg 5 months ago
@Netwriter Now as for evidence of testimonies, well here's one. I might butcher the exact facts, a little bit since it been awhile since i heard it but I know this family while they were escaping from their country to the US, they had to cross a desert ( i think) to get to a train that could take them to either a ship or plane. On the way there the ran out of food. They prayed to God and a man appeared with baby food for the kid and other food. They turned around to thank him and he disappeared.
ruzzdugg 5 months ago
@Netwriter As for the red sea, i didn't get the evidence first form a creation site, i found it yrs ago in a magazine or newspaper that actually supported evolution. According to the article, there was a number of wheels found that would all exist only during the same time frame as moses. And even if they didn't, historians could have also gotten the time frame wrong of the wheels. Either way, it matches the Bible story, and that is 1,000's of yrs before they were found
