@Giesji Hm - I donno who started with calling it Spiderbot. But somehow people used the name spider when they saw it. Anyhow - as you correctly mentioned it has only six legs and is a Hexapod. [Spiderman has only two legs ^^] cheers /d
@AuroraCypher Hey hi - I have listed most parts on the thingiverse site - (see video description) acctually there are not many different parts - there is the arduino mega, 20 servos and the lipo regulator to get the 8.4-7.4 from the lipo battery down to ~7.3-6Volt. The whole logic stuff controlling the servos is written and implemented on the arduino mega. all parts availible to buy - except the code - but I will upload it to thingiverse aswell. just need to clean it up a bit.
