This book was amazing. I recomend everyone who saw the movie reads the book...it is much better:) I agree that the rapists deserve to die and I bleieve that Carl Lee Hailie actually deserved a metal, not an indictment.
i saw this movie in a legalities class, and really enjoyed it. Didnt realize it was a Shumacher film, makes total sense tho I always enjoy his films. I cant wait for his next thriller "Trespass" to come out. I feel like it will be a good one.

I've read a time to kill in my mothertongue, in english and i'm looking forward to see the movie. Book is great, it shows an attitude between whites and blacks. I'm white and I've got nothing agains blacks. I'm not calling myself a good person, but racism, it's just something that Charles Darwin didn't intend to create. I've read a time to kill in my mothertongue, in english and i'm looking forward to see the movie. Book is great, it shows an attitude between whites and blacks. I'm white and I've got nothing agains blacks. I'm not calling myself a good person, but racism, it's just something that Charles Darwin didn't intend to create. Stupid skin colour ain't worth of killing, neither religion. (i understand that blacks are as much racists as whites)

I thought after this movie, Matthew McConaughey was going to become the next "golden boy," similar to Pothead Pitt. I figured he would amass a cult like following, and this role would potentially launch him into the stratosphere of stars. But it wasn't meant to be.
Matthew is very handsome, and did a terrific job in this movie. Overall, I like him as an actor, but will never confuse him with Marlon Brando LOL.
Sandra was sexy as hell. Yum! I She could be my assistant any day.
