DR Moses Powell was a real pioneer of 52 urban tactics. and after all if you learned 52 -42 yrs ago and continued experimenting should'int your 52 have grown, expanded and connect.
technically (and i hate to sound like a smart ass) Jeet Kune Do is an american art (Bruce would even say its not an art its a philosophy). It was invented and pioneered in america but a chinese american. The only real chinese influence in Bruces JKD was the wing chun trapping/blasting. But as the whole purpose of JKD is to use what works for you, theres no rule to say YOUR JKD cant b chinese art influenced. Its a very misunderstood philosophy JKD, most people assume its a set style of fighting.
@stevieb8006 The best fight is no fight at all...but if have to fight then you have to fight. Also lee says that Jeet Kune Do is not a style...which means it is opposite of style...hence a system...what he was tring to do in the long run is to use sports(which includes martial styles,he studied not only wing chun but also shotokan, akido, kali, fencing, boxing ect).
@stevieb8006 Bruce was born in America but that doesn't mean his roots is NOW amercan. The center core of JKD is Tao...which is a philosophy...a chinese world veiw.
It looks good keep putting the work in.

True because situations continue to grow, expand and intensify interconections. Stale water isnt good water.

single whip from tai chi is very similar technique but we'd take the elbow joint out, good vid

Yes that is true. But Tai chi is a style of kungful...chinese boxing is the complete system...i.e. Jeet Kune Do.
