no it's chinese, this style of costume and architecture was made popular by the spread of buddhism and forms of hindu influence brought thought the silk road= the Thai culture is heavily affected by it and kept that cultural identity from its intruduction to the present day where as china has changed and developed their own culture had you gone to China during that time period you would see more of this style popularized
