allora lattice e lattice schiumato sono 2 cose totalmente diverse seppure fatti con la stessa base, il lattice è duro pesante e poco elastico e si usa per pelli sottili o stampi, lo schiumato è leggero cedevole morbido ed elastico si usa quindi per "volumi"

per fare delle maschere di lattice "normale" fai un calco e riempilo tutto con lattice oppure sciacqua più volte una bella quantità di lattice fino a coprire tutta la superficie e rimetti la gocciolona nella confezione

innanzitutto complimenti per quello che fai, è spettacolare e soprattutto richiede un notevole livello di conoscenze tecniche e non.. lo dico anche perchè mi sto imbattendo con un'amica nella creazione di una maschera in lattice a tutto tondo (tipo carnevale) e non ho ancora capito quale sia il materiale ideale! tu qui hai usato il lattice schiumato Prochima, mi sembra, ma dici che può andare bene anche quello normale, per uno spessore di 1-2mm?

si si è schiumato anche se con troppo vulcanizzante era duretto ma considerando che è fatto tutto in un unico pezzo mi sono accontentato di quello che è venuto fuori... mi ero dato dei limiti di budget se no questa prova mi mandava in rovina... (penso addirittura che sia una delle mie peggiori schiume, ma d'altronde anche la meccanica non faceva faville, avevo messo su tutta la baracca per provare i controlli con una schedina americana ed un mixer per vedere se riuscivo a cavarci le gambe!

italianissimo! e si ho fatto qualcosa per mirabilandia ma adesso il grosso degli animatronici che faccio vanno all'estero ma pensa che una delle ditte più grandi ed affermate internazionalmente per ideazione e progettazione parchi a tema è a Padova ed io sono appunto uno dei loro fornitori... ce ne sono di motivi per essere orgogliosi di essere italiani, tanti quanti quelli per vergognarsi... poi quando si va a letto ogni sera si guarda il piatto da che parte pende... e butta male!

just doing that again and again spending much time (studyng) and also money but this one was not so difficoult, just servomotors and a control board I found online...

there are also many book about that like "robot building bonanza" and something like that... it takes time but it's funny.

Thank you very much!!!! Yes I did it on my own and it wasn't too difficolut to build mechanics, but the controls were!!! it's controlled by PC and a midi mixer...

Thank you! but no, this zombie became before hellboy but it looks like that... after all a zombie is ever a zombie... the cool think is that the endoskeleton of this animatronic it's a mould of a real skull cause I sculpted the plastiline over it so if you touch it it's like a real mummy

dont be scared the only thinks you can lose are time and little money... try to sculpt and to mould it in plaster, you can do the skin in silicone but remember if you use the addition one do not to use plastiline whit sulfur inside cause this inhibir the catalisis of the silicone!

no i used it for a short movie of mine and it was like an experiment, to try my new servocontroller board and it worked! it was just to try... somethig fun!

plastiline,stone,foam and hardware stuff... add 12 servo motors, a control board and a usb mixer... just for these things i spent about 2000 euros witout considering pc-software and tools to build it! i've made it in my spare time and it toke me 4 mounths to build and 4 mounths to understand why it didn't work, after that i realized that there was someting in firmware of the chip on the control board and when i fixed it it worked immediatly..... HHHHHaaaaarg!!!!

how in the world did you get the servos to rotate the lower jaw????

putting the opening servo directly on the rotating one that was parallel to the ground and the all articulation was made only with servos and no mechanic parts that made it fragile but easy and fast to do!

ciao! io sono di Fano nelle Marche(non darmi addirittura del voi!)ma lavoro in tutta italia soprattutto a milano, ogni tanto a roma e ora sono in trattative per un lavoro a palermo, come vedi viaggio un pò!

Questo zombie è un prototipo e quindi un pezzo unico ma se ne possono fare altri, questo è stato usato per un filmetto e poi abbandonato al suo destino dopo avergli sciacallato tutta l'elettronica che poteva essere riciclata in altri progetti!
