S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is fairly old, actually. Old, but still is pretty awesome. Unfortunately, your Killzone 2 prediction is off by a mile, as well as your Halo prediction, considering that there are no AK-47s in either. Killzone 2 is still an awesome game though. Can't say the same for Halo considering I only liked the first one...

Dead Space was a more horrifying experience for me than S.T.A.L.K.E.R. was though by far because of the narrow spaces, tight corridors, and overall lack of any lighting at all in most areas besides a fuckin' flashlight. That and the mutants in Dead Space were way creepier to me.

Plus, by the end of the game you feel a real attachment with Isaac.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. still rules though! :D
