You're right Faber hung in there but that was about it. He was getting rocked to the body and looked like he was getting gassed in the 3rd. Brown grappling was overwhelming for Faber and that was the major turing point in the match. Brown is a beast in the 145 class. Go ATT.

Yeah. Ufc is 155+ and Wec is 155-. It's owned by Zuffa also. It's kind of cool to have the 2 seperate organizations. Free fights and the lighter guys usually put on more exciting fights...Obviously not all the time. I don't know which fight you folks were watching. It was apparent that Brown gage Uriah a break, and did not persue him with the same vigor as he did in the first two rounds. Face it Faber got his butt whipped, quit pointing to his hand, he did enough of that during the fight.

I tend to think that brown is a more inteliigent fighter than Faber and that Brown knows what he did wrong in that fight and will focus more on improving his speed if they fight again. He already knows he can kill Faber on the ground game if he works on his dirty boxing and his striking too speed it up. Faber will go from sorta having a chance to standing no chance at all.

I'm not sure what fight you were watching, but Faber definately did not outskill Brown....In my opinion Mike Brown won every round...How many times did faber take Brown Down? And notice how many times Brown took faber down, and out muscled him and outwrestled him.
First round I would say was a tie, and the rest of the fight went to Brown for sure. But, you have to remember that Faber couldn't use all of his potential. I'm not trying to say that Brown didn't win, I'm trying to say that if there were a rematch I wouldn't put my money on Brown. His luck will run out.

you diminish his win by saying it was chance. No matter what happened he got the win. You can't take that away from him. One win would be luck but 2 wins in a row. Thats not luck Thats skill. Brown IS the champ Brown did win 2 times. Faber broke his hand in the first round and was workin him til he broke it. first fight was a 1 punch that turned the table. i want to c them fight again. hopefully brown holds it til then. Faber can beat brown and will get the belt back at some pt. brown can obviously beat Faber as well. when these two fight. it is possible to go either way.

Brown won but Faber got the first round before injuring his hands. I don't know. He stayed in like a fucking champion but if he would have won or not I'm not sure. You know there will be a 3rd and probably 4th fight.Brown cuts from like 165-170 he said in an interview. You're right Faber hung in there but that was about it. He was getting rocked to the body and looked like he was getting gassed in the 3rd. Brown grappling was overwhelming for Faber and that was the major turing point in the match. Brown is a beast in the 145 class. Go ATT.

I'd say the first fight was just Faber being caught and it's a part of fighting and the second one people will question what would have happend with fabers hands but there will be a third fight. There IS a LUCK factor. I've been Brown's fights and I've seen Faber's fights. Faber is the more skilled of the 2. It's unfortunate that he lost but I still think he's the better fighter. I agree with you. Faber should have to win a couple fights first for sure. It will happen though. There aren't enough fighters to really prolong another rematch that long. Anything can happen. I think if he fought like he did in that first round a few more he could have beat brown. Honestly though this is like Rich Franklin and Anderson Silva. Faber would be better off moving up a class.

Yeah. Ufc is 155+ and Wec is 155-. It's owned by Zuffa also. It's kind of cool to have the 2 seperate organizations. Free fights and the lighter guys usually put on more exciting fights...Obviously not all the time. When Brown had him on the ground, he should have easily been able to submit Faber.. but he's slower than Faber. The dude is way too quick and is easily the better fighter.

I tend to think that brown is a more inteliigent fighter than Faber and that Brown knows what he did wrong in that fight and will focus more on improving his speed if they fight again. He already knows he can kill Faber on the ground game if he works on his dirty boxing and his striking too speed it up. Faber will go from sorta having a chance to standing no chance at all.

If you watch his punches he was punching in a kung fu style. He was clinching as the moment of impact and that only works in movies its not real in a real fight. That is why he got beat. Brown noticed it and was dropping his head to he hit the top of his head. Browns skill played a large part in faber breaking his hand. Sorry I had to pull for brown hes a southern boy and plus I feel he is a better fighter. More skilled.

brown is more TECHNICAL. faber is the better FIGHTER though. faber can survive and brown would have prolly cracked under similar circumstances

i did notice the more relaxed hand..maybe that was so he could catch n parry better..maybe to get the punches off faster..maybe instead of bobbing n weaving brown just decided to duck his head..like i said before..a lot of variables..only faber really knows his thoughts n "why"s when he was in there n same to brown..we'll never know..what we do know is until he loses brown is champ..people should stop hating cus he is a skilled fighter..not flashy but def skilled..well earned success

the WEC HAS to give Faber an IMMEDIATE rematch. His broken hand cost him the fight. Jose Aldo can wait. He can pull a Thiago Alves and wait in line as the 1 contender in reserve, and fight after the rematch. If Faber's injury does not sideline him for months, then give him the rematch. All you Mike Brown fans can say what you want, but the TRUE champion tonight was Faber. Anyone who can go 4 1/2 rounds with two injured hands is a champion.
