Dear humans,
The only reason we've tolerated your species for a few thousand years is because eating you was out of the question once you became better hunters and started using weapons. Since all we needed you for was food and you're willing to give us that anyways, in exchange for some work and a few tricks, we decided to stick with you. We always make fun of how easily you 're entertained by our antics.

Okay, these comments are getting more stupid than the show hosts, the dog, and the video combined. All the show was trying to do was make a random, funny clip. The dog was not starved, beaten, or harmed in any way in this video. Sure, they laughed a bit, but it got its sausage and in the end it seemed pretty pleased. Some dogs actually are abused, and this is not abuse. I am a dog-lover, and I found this amusing. God; people need to just get over themselves. *facepalm*

It's too bad because it actually could have been funny. I found the use of the word "stupid" offensive, and agree with the other comments that the people were the stupid ones.

If they'd called him "Hungry Pig Dog" or something like that, it could have been funny.
Maybe the people who made it didn't realize the "feeling" that went along with calling a dog "stupid", or maybe they don't care.

Why is this uploader misrepresenting this show as Japanese show? I can read Greek and Japanese. The title was written in Chinese. Japanese would not treat dogs in this manner by calling them "stupid". But Chinese thinks it's funny to humiliate poor dog that has feelings. Now come to think of it they didn't think twice to slaughter Tibetan Buddhist monks either month ago.

As long as the dog is not laughed at during the filming. Because dogs absolutely feel it when they are humiliated. They are just like us, they feel any kind of pain or discomfort like humans feel. They know who disrespects them immediately, often they know more about someone than people know. They just don't have reasoning skills. That does not give us the right to laugh at them. What an unnecessary, meaningless, and disrespectful thing to do. Dogs hate those no scratch collars.

Please people, don't take this so seriously. The dog is not harmed... in fact, I think he was pretty pleased with the result. It's just silly, and it's funny yes, because of the stupid dog AND the stupid humans.
And yes, I happen to hate animal cruelty, and I am a dog owner. You're just overreacting and proving yourselves stupider than the dog and the hosts combined.

Actually, that was a triangle the dog was trying to fit into. Different shape than a square. The host needs to relearn his shapes before insulting the animal kingdom. Poor dog.

I love Japan. I love their food, discipline, people, work ethic and history, their culture in general.
But for such rich culture, it never ceases to amaze me how easily they are entertained by the stupidest, most sophomoric and jejune TV programs. Maybe they just need to be silly after a day of serious work.
Their TV makes me want to jab a pencil in my eyes, or give me the runs.
No wonder so many of them commit seppuku.
I think even the Springer audience would reject them...well, maybe not.

Yeah, what it's amazing is how of all the species, the human was the one that evolved into whatever the hell it is we are today.
Too bad a nice microscopic virus doesn't wipe the entire species off the face of the earth. The whole planet and the rest of the species would be better off.
